Great game. If you've gotten bored of Factorio, this is a good step up in complexity.

Bought this to say thanks for the new Major Update. I was a little wary when I bought this game, as Early Access can be a mixed bag, but I've had such a blast playing. After spending 1000 hours in Factorio and then starting to work in Heavy Industry IRL, this was the game I didn't know I needed to play. Y'all have done such a great job on the gameplay and making it feel real while still being fun. I'm looking forward to coming back for another playthrough in a while and seeing how the game has grown.

The characters and aesthetic are charming, and the music is quite good. If you really love roguelites, there's enough here that you will enjoy this game. However, as someone who is only kinda into roguelites, I found this game intensely frustrating. This game is long, trivially easy levels punctuated by very difficulty boss fights and some difficult arenas, so my experience was mostly being bored and then being frustrated as I was pitted against way too-difficult challenges. My main gripe though is the two-tier health/heals system: it is awful. Especially as a new player - you wind up with tons of the tier-1 heals that you can't use, and then you die to an especially hard arena. I could keep ranting for a while but... there's the core of a good game here. But the execution is just one disappointment after another.

Cool ideas, poorly executed. The actual gameplay winds up alternating between walking simulator and getting stuck for 5 minutes because you didn't click on the ONE thing you were supposed to or look at something from the exact angle the devs intended.

This game is incredible. The art, world design, and soundtrack are phenomenal. It's in my top 5 games for sure.
