So no, I'm not buying the “Leetify inflated my AIM rating because I use the AWP/SSG” explanation that easily. The numbers, the actual match we played, and your own explanation don't exactly line up.

And there's another problem with that explanation: in the match I actually played with you, you didn't even get a single sniper kill. Your kills were with rifles. So using your SSG/AWP usage as the explanation for that particular 99 AIM rating doesn't really add up either.

Also, you keep bringing up the fact that you reached FACEIT Level 10 back in 2017. Just in case you've forgotten, 2017 was CS:GO, not CS2. If you genuinely don't understand the differences between the two games and how much the competitive environment has changed since then, I'd be more than happy to explain it to you. 😂

I'm not basing my assessment of your stats on a single website or a single calculation, so there isn't some “calculation error” that conveniently explains everything away. And even if we accept your argument that your AIM rating is inflated because you primarily use the SSG or AWP, that still creates a pretty obvious contradiction.

You're saying that you don't consider yourself better than today's professional sniper players, yet your AIM rating is supposedly higher than theirs. If your explanation is that you're simply an SSG/AWP player, then your own argument actually works against you: why would your rating be higher than professional players who are literally among the best in the world at those weapons? 😂

And no, I never said that I'm some top notch player nor compared myself to pro players? I've always considered myself a pretty casual player, but still far above the average Joe who hops on to play a few games with his work buddies after working a long day at their 9-5 job. Reaching such milestones as "FACEIT level 10" or "2,500 elo" were never difficult for me, they just kinda came along the way.?

Also to add to the aim rating discussion, I asked my friend about it and the rating may very well be inflated by my usage of single fire weapons such as the SSG or the AWP, which sounds pretty stupid to me, but when he explained how the ratings are calculated on sites like "Leetify" it all started to make a lot more sense.

And again, CS2 matchmaking isn't competitive so I don't see the need or appeal of using utility, please don't refer to it as "competitive CS" since that's basically as far from the truth as you can get.

In fact, I have been punished multiple times on FACEIT for multiaccounts/account sharing etc. Most of my registered accounts on the platform were quickly closed by the staff team, including my old main account which I hit level 10 on for the first time but that was years ago (2017 IIRC).
Nowadays I strongly disagree with how FACEIT deals with such cases and how the platform is being ran overall, and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Also anyone saying that level 10 is a good benchmark for a persons skill nowadays is just talking out of their ass, I have watched many matches and played some myself and the level of gameplay shown in level 10+ lobbies now is laughable. The mechanical skills of the individual players are basically a joke. Also this accounts FACEIT has been restricted from joining any queues on the platform since 2024 so that's also a reason why it isn't in "high elo".

As for your FACEIT explanation, there's another problem with that argument. FACEIT's current rules state that players are only allowed to have one active FACEIT account, and account sharing is also prohibited. Having multiple accounts or sharing an account can result in bans.

So if you're saying you've reached Level 10 multiple times on different accounts, while also saying that your girlfriend played the matches on this account, you're actually giving me more things to question, not fewer. 😂

You keep saying that you don't care about the rules, don't take the game seriously and just play for fun, which is completely fine. But then don't use your 99 AIM rating as some kind of proof that you're an exceptionally skilled player while dismissing every other competitive aspect of the game.
