Why So Serious
Why so serious, my friend,
why such the long face,
be happy, even if it's just pretend;
it's life you must embrace.

Life is short, so live for today,
no need to stress over it all;
just listen to my words, and obey,
before you headbutt the wall.

I was once serious, and stressed,
acting like a fish out of water,
flopping all over floor, but I digress,
let's get back to the subject, as we oughtta.

Take the time to laugh out loud,
it's really good for your health;
being serious is like living in a shroud,
but happiness is your spiritual wealth.

That's it, relax your facial muscles,
a smile is about to appear on the horizon,
I do believe a laugh is about to hustle
stress right out the door, as the sun is rising.

Isn't it fun that you can smile,
being serious just shortens your life;
happiness is the latest style,
now you're free from all this strife.
