Diplomacy is ok, battles can be pretty repetitive if you're playing some nations, but the economy sim is really fun and addictive to me. I recommend this game if you like other Total War games, but maybe start with Rome 1 or Medieval 2 if you haven't played any Total War games before.

Best AC game, period. Have completed this game fully 3 times now and I'm about to go back for more.

Best Classic RTS period.

Every run is different, there are a lot of really unique and fun items to play with, and it's hard enough to punish mistakes while rewarding skilled play and practice. I have almost 500 hours in this game and I still play at least a couple times a week. Just great!

First off, don't listen to all the butthurt gamers who can't figure out how to log in to Uplay. It is not hard to figure out. Once you get past that, welcome to an incredible game that is beginning to take hours from my life. It has a steep learning curve at first, but after a few hours into it, you get the hang of it. Guides that show you the most efficient layouts for your buildings are a must though. Get it on sale, and enjoy!

This game is amazing. It makes your music library feel brand new and fun to listen to again. Plus there are so many great songs in the popular song category they will show you a lot of new music to jam to. Plus it will give you really fun seizures!! (For those with epilepsy, you will just have the regular, not-fun kind of seizures.)

The Americas expansion is just not that fun for me. I love the Brittania and Teutonic expansions though. Crusader expansion is just so-so. Each expansion has its own shrunk down version of the main map (except the Americas of course) that focuses on a specific part of the world while adding much more detail and more regions to conquer. New buildings and units spices up gameplay some, but it's really just about getting to play as "new" factions in new areas. If you have Medieval 2 already and enjoy it, it's worth it.

It's Skyrim. End of story. Endlessly moddable, so much to see, craft, and kill. It's hard to put into words how much value you will get out of this game, even if you're not into RPGs. 10/10
