Day 32. It's been about a week since the cold started and it's snowing every day. My people started fighting during guard shifts during the night and it has started taking its toll on both their mental and physical well-being. And the cold doesn't help. People are wounded and sick and I'm badly in need of meds.

Of the few locations around my safehouse that aren't blocked because of the weather, an old school that was shelled. Rumors say they have a lot of meds, but that it may be dangerous. I decide to send my best scavenger out armed only with a crowbar.

Arriving at the location, it's heavily guarded by militia. One guy approaches me and wants to trade, he has some meds, but I have little and left it all at the house anyway. He tells me we can't trade, but that I can't enter...

The hell I can't! My people need those meds!

While he's waiting for me to change my mind at the door, I sneak past him and his friends through an unguarded floor above. As I silently go deeper inside the school, I finally find some medication and some bandages. Minutes later, after a few close calls short of being discovered, I see a locked cabinet down the hall. Using the only item I brought with me, my trusty crowbar, I break it open. What do I find? About a ton of tobacco and some ammo!

I sneak my way out the way I came, and back at the entrance, that guy is still asking me if I want to trade. The meds I found aren't going to cut it, so I offer him the ammo and the tobacco I stole from him earlier against some more meds and some sugar. He accepts, not knowing I'm actually selling him his own stuff, what a fool!

I run back home, patch everyone up, and we all have a good laugh about the incident around a few glasses of moonshine we made from the sugar we just made ours.
