As a long-time fan of anything from FromSoftware, of course I was excited to see this announced a few years back. And as I hoped and dreamed, it is an amazing game. From the graphical design fitting to their superb world design, this game is visually a masterpiece. Gameplay? Classic Souls movement and combat... but you can jump! AND crouch! Jump attacks and crouch attacks tag along with 'em too. From the catacombs to the main story, it is such a finely crafted game. I personally recommend any newcomer to be ready to rage, it's part of the Souls experience. However, be ready to scream in a full fit of joy whenever you beat that boss who just kept getting the best of you. Exhilaration. It's going to be common. There can be a few hiccups performance-wise, worsening with the lower the power your hardware has, but I haven't experienced any within the past few weeks using a 10600K and a 1080Ti. Perhaps a recent patch has solved things, or maybe I'm just lucky. Buy the game, go find out if I'm telling the truth about the experience/performance, then come thumbs me up for being right.
