I don't usually write reviews for dlc but I feel people are being a bit unfair with this one. Price wise yeah it could probably be cheaper, but the content is pretty cool if you're a fan of RE7. The gun isn't bad at the beginning but once you upgrade the normal gun it becomes obsolete, just like the Samurai Edge in RE2 remake. The filter, save music, and tape recorder are all really cool options to have that give that RE7 feel. The bobble head charm is a bit odd because it goes on the standard gun that you won't really be using until later because you get the Samurai Edge with this. Would've made more sense for this one to be the shotgun one and Mr. Raccoon the Lemi but whatever. The concept art is really great if you like looking at that kinda thing, but the best part is the Baker Incident Report which shines a bit more light on what happened after RE7.
The difficulty unlock is cool but you can get that in the base game.
All in all I'd say get this if you liked RE7 but maybe wait for a sale if you didn't get it in a bundle.

Don't let my playtime fool you. I've played a ton on Bethesda Launcher and PS4 as well.

I'm probably one of the few people who actually loved this game when it first launched, and it's only gotten better with every update. If you liked Fallout 4, this is essentially more of that but bigger and better and you can play with friends. The map is way bigger and jampacked full of content, with expeditions expanding the world even more. The stories are all really interesting and there's a lot of new fun characters to meet. C.A.M.P. building expands on settlements from FO4 to give you tons of freedom to build whatever you want pretty much wherever you want. Public Events are always pretty fun. My favorite is the seasonal alien ones. There is so much to do and explore here and the game is perfectly playable single player if you don't want to interact with others. You'll be kept busy for a long time.

If you've been on the fence about this game, now is as good a time as any to start playing. The most recent update has expanded on the starter zone a lot.

I'll see you in Appalachia.

Having never played the original RE3 I can't really compare it to that, yet I feel that's where most of the anger people are having towards this game comes from.

On its own I feel this game is a wonderful addition to the series. It's a relatively normal length for an RE game with incentive to replay with challenges and unlocks and harder difficulties, like most RE games.
This one is a lot more action packed than the RE2 Remake but it does still have sections that are genuinely scary, Nemesis isn't a constant stalking presence like Mr. X but when he does show up it's some tense ♥♥♥♥.
I'd say for the most part this game more strikes a balance between horror and action, similar to RE4. It's like a perfect blend of the two and it's a fun ride the entire time.
Graphic wise the game is beautiful. Story is also pretty great filled with wonderful characters. Carlos is awesome and I love what they did with Jill. She's a lot better than what she initially appeared to be in the demo.

In all I feel any fan of the series will love this game.

I'll preface this by saying my hours aren't exactly accurate because I also play the Nutaku version. Don't look at me like that.

This is an idle clicker dating sim. If you're expecting anything other than that you should probably go look for a different game. Sad Panda Studios is mainly just a three person dev team (with some outsourcing for art and voice acting) headed by a woman.

The game is mainly a resource manager. You allocate time blocks to hobbies (which increase stats) and jobs (which increase money) while achieving certain goals to advance your relationships with the girls. You unlock more girls while leveling up stats or progressing other girls. Aside from the story girls there is also dlc girls you can purchase in the shop or get from limited time events.

A newer update in Crush Crush's life is Phone Flings. A little icon at the top that looks like a phone will pop up after you progress a certain ways and you can unlock special text (and sext) conversations with more girls depending on certain unlock requirements. As of last month, only one girl has become a playable girl after you complete her Phone Fling. Most likely Sad Panda plans on doing more in the future. Personally I feel this is where the game really shines as the Phone Flings are very well written and feel believable. They always managed to put a smile on my face.

There's one more mechanic that's pretty interesting. It's a soft Reset you can do which will give you a big boost to timers and cooldowns and stuff. The boost is higher depending on how much prestige you earned in the current cycle (you get prestige from progressing girls). Phone Flings do not Reset, thankfully, and you keep all your diamonds and time blocks. It's highly recommended you do some prestige grinding if you are ever stuck on a certain wall.

The game is updated very regularly with new girls and new Phone Flings, as well as biweekly events that give various things (Girls, Outfits, Diamonds, Pin-Ups, Job Skips, etc.). So the devs obviously care about this game, which is great.

If you don't buy the +18 dlc then the game is censored because otherwise they'd get in trouble with Valve. If you don't want to pay you can always play the Nutaku version, however it does not have voice acting because it's browser based. So it's up to you. I personally prefer the Steam version but I started on the Nutaku version, so I still play that one too.

In closing, I'll say you do not have to pay anything to play this game. However, it will help of course and it helps out the devs. If I had to say what I'd pay for it'd be the Darya and Catara bundles (especially Catara as Speed Dating makes your life a hell of a lot easier) and Speed Boosts. Maybe Skip Resets if you are extremely lazy but I wouldn't recommend it. Don't bother buying time blocks or time skips. Last tip: if you have Darya or Catara, clicking on them at the start of a Reset will instantly unlock all hobbies. Which makes the grind go a bit quicker.

Edit 5/7/20: A second phone fling girl is becoming a full girl this month and two more are already confirmed.

Short Review: This is a beautifully crafted world where you collect things and goof off with animals. Perfect for any fan of the Shelter series. Definitely worth the small price tag. Play on the server with the most players, not your region.

Long Review: I'm going to give a breakdown of everything this game has to offer.
First, if you loved the art style of Shelter 1 and 2 you will definitely be in for more of that wonderful world.

The objective of the game is to collect essence, which you get from literally anything that sparkles, but there are also these big obelisks which drop a ton of essence but can only be opened with other animals.
So the best way to get essence is find a bunch of other animals and go on an adventure together to find obelisks. This is the bread and butter of this game, interacting with others. There's no voice or text chat, the only way to communicate is with emotes and actions, which has a similar beauty to it that Journey did. This game is very peaceful and will get you smiling a lot. I think I had a big grin on my face the majority of the time I was playing this.

So what is essence for? Well as you collect more you'll unlock new emotes and skins for the current animal you are playing and also work towards getting new animals. Progress towards animals is the same across all animals, so don't worry about switching.

Here's a tip: If you click the button at the bottom right you can see a map for a short time that shows you where the Tree is, the direction North is, and where other players are. Also the button next to that will show you your current progress towards unlockables.

Unlockable animals in order:
Badger cub (default)
Frog
Rabbit
Goat
Fox
Pheasant
Hedgehog

Each animal has different running and swimming speeds as well as jump heights, and some obelisks need specific animals to open. Each animal also has a bunch of emotes and skins to unlock so there's a lot of things to work towards unlocking.

Changing animals once you unlock them is simple. Go back to the Den from the pause menu. This is the main menu. Now look at the side to the right of the menu. Click on any of the animals to switch to them.

Now there's also a bunch of stuff you get when you own other Shelter products. Here's the breakdown:
Shelter 1 gives you Momma Badger
Shelter 2 gives you Momma Lynx
Paws gives you Baby Lynx
Owning all three games gives you Baby Bear
Shelter 2: Mountains DLC gives a fire emote
Shelter Soundtrack gives a Badger howl emote
Shelter 2 Soundtrack gives a Lynx howl emote
Shelter 2: Mountains EP gives another Lynx howl emote
Paws Soundtrack gives a baby Lynx howl emote
Meadow Soundtrack gives a baby Badger howl emote
Lonesome Fog ebook gives a Fog emote
Fables from the Den ebook gives you a rain cloud emote
Blossom ebook gives you a flower emote
Symbols ebook gives you the Wolf
Art of Shelter ebook gives you a unique skin on all animals
Owning every Shelter related product gives you the Eagle.

The Eagle is really cool in that he can fly really high and traverse the world very easily. The downside is you can't collect essence so the only real point to playing him is to explore or to help other animals find essence easier. Up to you if you think it's worth it. Also I might be wrong but I think the products that relate to Meadow don't count towards getting the Eagle unlocked as they came out afterwards.

All in all I say this game is most definitely worth the cheap price tag and it's a must for any Shelter fan. And I'm sure the more Shelter content comes out the more stuff you'll get in Meadow. Good thing to tide you over till Shelter 3 comes out.

Also as I mentioned above, your best bet is to play on the server with the most active members. When I played for some reason the Europe server had the most players (went up to about 40 out of 50 which was fun) also be mindful of the time when you get on. This is a small game that not an absolute ton of people play but there are enough people to make it enjoyable. And of course you picking it up will add to the pool and make this game more active. So join us!

Yes this game is short. Yes it is merely meant as a free prequel demo thing for Life Is Strange 2. But don't be fooled by that. This game is just as wonderful, interesting, and heartbreaking as LIS1 was just in a small dose. You will quickly grow to love Chris and his innocence while feeling terrible about his circumstances. You need to play this game.

Side Note: It's confirmed your choices in this will actually impact LIS2 in some way.

I've played through this game multiple times now on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and now PC (so don't let that number fool you, I'm probably closer to 100 hours).
This game is absolutely wonderful. It's definitely one of my favorite games of all time.
The story is interesting, engaging, hilarious, heartbreaking, and just a roller coaster of emotions. You're in for a real treat, especially if you enjoy time travel stories. Every character has so much more to them than what you first perceive. Your choices matter so much that they will alter things in the past, present, and future. Every playthrough I've done I've found new outcomes by trying different choices. Every single choice you make could be the right choice, there is no wrong choices in this game. All of the choices have justifiable reasoning behind them. This is the epitome of choice based storytelling. I might even say it's done even better than TellTale games.
So what are you waiting for? Get this game!

Side note: Your choices in this game do affect Life Is Strange 2, however you do not have to play this game as it doesn't carry your save file over. Instead it asks you about your choices similar to how Witcher 3 asked about your Witcher 2 choices.

Having played many of the Sakura games by Winged Cloud, I'd have to say this is one of their best ones yet.
The story is pretty interesting and has a few twists and the setting is really cool, probably the coolest setting since Sakura Fantasy. All the characters are pretty likeable and Inma's artwork has definitely improved since previous games.
The choices in this one don't really impact the story too much like in other games. Instead they add to an Investigation Score you get at the end of the game, which was pretty neat. I really hope to see a Sakura Space 2 sometime in the future as I really loved the setting.

Btw, if you're a bit confused with the differences between Sakura Space and Sakura Nova, the two are not set in the same universe at all. Space is more scifi while Nova is more like a fantasy/scifi hybrid type thing. Also they have different artists. Space is Inma and Nova is Wanaca.

P.S. If all you care about in these games is the lewd pics you should also pick up the patch.

I played this after playing Sakura Spirit, Angels, Fantasy 1, Swim Club, and Clicker.

This VN is a bit different than the other Sakura games in that the artist is Inma instead of Wanaca, but don't let that steer you away! It may look different but I assure you the art is still really great. This VN has some hints of Angels and Swim Club to it in terms of story and choices. Even though the MC is kind of an oblivious idiot, like in Spirit, he actually has a legit reason why he might not be focusing too much on why the girls act the ways they do. The story actually is pretty sad and emotional at some parts, kinda like Swim Club, which I really enjoyed. It made me actually feel for the fool. Just like Angels and Swim Club you have two girls basically competing for your attention and your choices do matter more like they do in Angels. All in all this is a fun read with some silly lewd pics to keep you interested if you get a bit bored with the story.

P.S. Don't bother looking for a patch, Inma doesn't make patches.

This Sakura game has the best story out of all the Sakura games I've played so far. Hands down. I think the fact that this is the first game in a longer series made the story much better. The first half of this game is all about introducing us to the characters, getting to known them and their backstories a bit, and just getting a general feel for the setting. The second half is where things get actiony and they tease ever so slightly at what is to come in later installments. The writing in this is so much better than previous games it's astounding. This might be my favorite Sakura game so far, either this or Swim Club cause that one is super great too. The art is perfect as always, Wanaca never disappoints. I'm excited for Chapter 2 and hope the wait for it won't be too long.

I also really liked that the MC is female for a change. It gives the game a much different feel than the other Sakura games. The MC also has a fun little power that lets her basically project her mind and become the best peeping tom ever. Hilarity follows.

Update: Winged Cloud just released an uncensored patch like the one for Swim Club.
