• Gameplay: 7/10. The gameplay is somewhat similar to terraria, but more focused on exploration and combat with numerous planets to explore. Some of the controls feel more polished than in terraria.
• Story: 6/10. Not very amazing, but not afwul either
• Visuals: 7/10, 8/10 with mods. The game looks quite good for what it is, and has a charming artstyle. There are numerous mods that improve it further too.
• Sound: 7/10. The music and sound effects complement the game's atmosphere pretty well, and weapons and attacks often sound pleasantly impactful (with the exception being electric weapons).
• Personal Bias: 9/10. I mod the hell out of it, which is admittedly giving me a positive bias.
• Length: 7/10, 9/10 with mods. The true length depends on how much you focus on the main story, as it's pretty short. It gives you plenty of side quests and sandbox exploration though. Mods make this game's lifespan near infinite.

Should i get it?
Yes, but try to get it on sale.
I recommend trying a modded run when you start to get bored, even if you haven't completed the story yet.

TLDR: Great game. if you can get it, get it.


NITW is one of the best games I have ever played. I found this game in a bad time, and it helped me reflect on myself and get through it.

This game has a beautiful artstyle, incredible soundtrack and a story the likes of which I've never seen before.
I've never played a game with dialogue as believable as in this game. Which says a lot, since it features a cast of cartoon animals.

I honestly don't really have anything bad to say about it. If you have the money, and you're thinking of getting it, just get it now. It's worth it.


Rest in peace Alec Holowski, you just might have saved my life. If only someone else was there to do the same for you.

At the end of everything, hold on to anything.

After the intro, it puts you in the middle of the world, where you instantly meet your old robot, get a pet dog, save some guys, jam a core into a suit of power armor, get in, rip a minigun off of an attack chopper and start shooting at a bunch of bad guys. After that you fight a deathclaw.
