This game has aged like milk. Slow, clunky, and irritating combat; cluttered and messy environments; the same awful game engine that adds an annoying sheen to everything that makes it impossible to navigate without constantly checking the map; on top of everything that already made the original Dead Island bad INCLUDING THE FUСΚІΝG SEWER LEVELS. At the very least, I didn't have to pay a dime for this. If I did pay, though, I'd be very upset.

easily valve quality. fun and cathartic gameplay, pretty good writing overall, only a few flaws that can be overlooked (like the somewhat irritating arena sections and the occasional meme sprinkled into the one-liners). i am in disbelief that this is free. this is half life 2 episode 3 right here. easy 9/10, would've been a 10/10 if you were able to actually cooperate with your clone from the start

quite possibly the most mediocre game i have ever played, and i've beaten postal 3 multiple times. i KNOW mediocre.
go play mighty foot production's DNF 2001 restoration, it is infinitely better even though it's currently unfinished. you'll get more fun from the first slice demo than from the entirety of this game

this game has aged amazingly well, especially for a so-called "casual game". runs fine on modern systems (even linux under proton) and still has endless amounts of replayability and gameplay. great for recreational tower defense larks or serious survival endless strategy sweating, thus has appeal for everyone. unless you just really hate plants.

this game has invaded my life and refuses to go away. i play it daily. playing this game is now apart of my daily routine. it is very addicting. much like the humble siren, it will tempt you and then fᴜcking eat you whole when you're within reach. please don't play it. i mean you absolutely should play it but dont let it get this far. it is really REALLY good. but every time i play as tainted lost, a chunk of my soul gets taken away from me

This game really butters my muffin. It fills the New Vegas shaped hole in my heart very nicely. My only complaint is that there are only two endings, which is pretty black and white in nature. Other than that, it's an excellent buy and will definitely be appealing if you want a spiritual successor to Fallout (but without Bethesda stank on it.)

the game is completely unplayable, but on the other hand, it's really funny to watch redditors seethe. this game is almost old enough to vote. valve doesn't care. let it go. im leaving a positive review in order to make those redditors seethe.

It's not the worst game I've ever played.
Being a huge fan of the POSTAL games and hearing how "bad" POSTAL III was, I had to check it out.
Gameplay-wise, it's okay. It follows the same linear style as Apocalypse Weekend, which I didn't really mind all that much.
Technically, its a janky piece of ♥♥♥♥ due to its poor implementation of the Source Engine.
There are various bugs, one of the most irritating in particular being that the game has an 80% chance of crashing every time you use a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ grenade, but other than that, they aren't THAT annoying.
The humor is juvenile as all hell but the design is overall appealing and I like Corey Cruise's voice work, but he's still not MY dude.
However, before going in, it is absolutely critical that you apply some tweaks and mod the game (particularly using any scripts that alter the morality system). This will make the game much more enjoyable, but you can forego them if you want.

Overall, it's not THAT bad. Sure, it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ compared to POSTAL 2, but it's not that bad of a game.
If you're a fan of the POSTAL games and are either a completionist and/or bored as hell, then give it a shot.
