At the time of this review I am yet to finish the game, but so far so good. However I will point out a few issues.

The UI is lacking a few quality of life features. For example: you may want to assign people to a bed, but it doesn’t say if the person is already assigned to a different bed/room.

It’s not friendly to people new to the genre and assumes you’ve played games similar before. Even with the tutorial on, it’s not clear how to do things and so you will find yourself pausing the game and clicking random things until you can continue.

There’s an option to repeat expeditions and skip the reports. However if you have already started an expedition you need to cancel it and start again if you want to change if you skip the reports or not.

It’s really minor issues, and hope they get addressed in the future.

Simple but good. You need to remember it's a roguelite and sometimes that means getting bad rng and starting over.

Has become broken and unplayable. They have also made is so that if you have the original Planetary Annihilation game, you can't even play singleplayer, so you need to buy this "upgrade" to "play".

I do not recommend this game. All dragon age games are different, but this one is just bad. By no means am I one of the people who only enjoyed Origins. The first Dragon Age game I played was Inquisition, before dropping back and playing through the others years later. But this game is terrible.
- Both writing and gameplay holds your hand throughout the game.
- Writing is very repetitive; the writing team seem to think your memory lasts about 15 seconds at most.
- Very few bits of travelling adventure dialogue is interesting. It's mostly just bland conversation.
- Most "choices" are the same choice reworded. For example:
> "Do you like pineapple on pizza?"
* 'Serious'.............Yes.
* 'Jest'...................Who doesn't?
* 'Thumbs Up'.....I love pineapples on pizza!
* 'Flirty'.................Nice Hair
- The few times choices have a little bit of effect there is a popup to let you know as if its the devs saying "Hey look, see! Your choices do matter!"
- Most of the puzzles are overly basic, only found one that felt okay I guess.
- The combat is fine at first but gets pretty dull, and the lack of decent writing to hold up the game makes it not worth continuing.
This game does have some nice little tidbits sprinkled in, but I cannot bring myself to continue playing it just for the occasional "oh that's cool".
2/10

Man the tutorial is drawn out, would be fine if you didn't have to complete it
12 times to count towards your 100% completion rate. Pretty much just zombie your way through it with a video open on your other monitor or something is the way to go.

I do like this game a lot, they've made quite a few Quality of Life improvements compared to 5. However, there are quite a few times when one of us will crash to the desktop. Which is frustrating because if your the host, everyone else gets kicked, and if your not the host then your not able to rejoin until the mission is over. And any of that loot you collected before crashing is gone.

In addition, there's always 1 or 2 of us at random that get desynced. So on their screen they will be firing at the enemy, when for everyone else they will be shooting at a wall or at you. This is problematic for a game that has friendly fire as it has gotten us unfairly killed quite a lot.

The pacing can feel a bit off, without spoilers, there are times in the campaign you cant access all of your equipment, while introducing new difficult enemies. This makes it more difficult than necessary. I can only imagine how hard it is for people who don't have a full party when playing.

Original Review on EDF6 Due to people complaining about Epic:

Haven't played long, but i prefer Epic Games to PSN blocking countries.

It also states that you need an Epic account in under Additional Notes in "Requirements to Play". People complaining about this are the same people who get trapped for not reading fineprint.

Reinstalled after years of not playing to see if I could rekindle my love for the game.
It is Beyond infested with bots. All snipers that rush around the map and snap their aim towards you in a single frame. "players" blasting deafening audio while being hidden from the mute selection so your either stuck with it or have to disable voice completely in the settings. Constant auto vote kicking for anyone who is not a bot. Chat being spammed with links to buy bots or youtube promotions. It's simply just not a game anymore.

Either this needs to be fixed, or this walking corpse of a "game" needs to be shutdown.

One of the better character creators i've seen, though not the hand and feet not adjusting to scale is a bit wack. At the time of this review there are constant crashes so you will need to save frequently. I have changed the settings to 30fps which seems to make it crash a little less but its still annoying, as myself and many others have this issue with hardware that is more than enough.

I do not think this will ever get fixed, but I still recommend giving it a try since its free.
