Capcom have knocked it out of the park yet again. Great remake, much better than the original game.

Seems pretty good so far. Hard not to compare it to FromSoft games, with all the similarities. Not quite as good as those games but I'm enjoying it nonetheless.

This is an odd one.

If you can get past the struggle of the first hours (your character is weak and dies pretty quick) and the low budget feel of...everything, there is actually a really good RPG in here.

There's a big open world with places to explore and quests to do, many of which have multiple ways to complete them. Diffferent factions that you can join, each with their own perks. At first I found myself mostly running away from conflicts, but as I levelled up and got new weapons/upgrades, the combat got a lot more enjoyable. Also, disabling auto-targeting helped.

Story is quite intriguing as well, though I'm yet to finish it. Fans of Piranha Bytes and old-school third person RPGs should definitely enjoy this.

Fantastic metroidvania style game, with an interesting world and characters. Easily one of the best games I've played this year!

And it's full of bugs.... Bugs that will want to straight up kill you or have a nice little chat with you, before trying to eat you. They're not all bad though, there are friendly faces here and there, some will make you smile at how cute they are, some will make you sad once you progress their storyline. :(

Most of your time will be spent fighting, of course. The combat is fun but challenging, tough bosses (and there are a lot of them) that will test your 2d platformer combat skills. It can get frustrating at times, but you can pretty much always just go a different route if you get stuck somewhere, to find new upgrades or abilities, that'll either help you defeat the boss you're stuck on or allow you to access new areas that you couldn't access before.
The map is huge so there's a lot to explore, that also means there's a lot of backtracking, which can get annoying to some since the map is so big and fast travel stations are not that common, but it was not a big issue for me.

There's a few optional areas/challenges/bosses that are more difficult than the main content, if you really want to challenge yourself. Some of them also affect the final ending. There's ton of content with free DLC coming soon, too. It took me over 50 hours to do everything, so it was easily worth the buy for me.
As I said before, Hollow Knight is a candidate for my GOTY. The visuals, gameplay, exploration, enemy variety - all top notch.

Best rally game since Richard Burns Rally in 2004.
More sim-like than any of the other Codemasters rally games. I don't have a steering wheel+pedals, which I feel you need for getting really good times in the global leaderboards, but even with gamepad it's totally playable and quite fun, was able to get all possible achievements in the game.

There's Rally, Rallycross and Hillclimb modes. Good selection of cars from different eras. Nearly all the locations had great, well designed stages, especially in Wales, Greece and Monaco. Can't go wrong with this game if you like rallying at all.

Very good.

Like a mix of Deus Ex and Bioshock. The story might not be as great and interesting as it could have been, but the gameplay is there.
Exploration almost always gets rewarded here, which I like. Good level design, some interesting weapons and abilites like the GLOO cannon and Mimic. Aliens that are actually challenging to fight, at least in the early game, when you dont have a bunch of skills and fully upgraded weapons with lots of ammo. :P
One of the best games of the year so far.

Great game for those who enjoy stealth gameplay and exploration.
Had a lot of fun breaking into places and stealing all the things.

Decent story with a setup for a sequel, good side missions and detailed environments. Always more than one way to deal with any given situation, I love that in games.
Wish there were more different areas, though, rather than going back and forth Prague.. Other than that and the consolish UI, it was good! :D:
