One of the best party games I've ever played, it will always be fun. It's chaotic and beautiful.

Really fun, even a little scary a certain times. The best way to play this game is with a lot of friends, but is enjoyable with total strangers too. There are updates still being made for the game which is nice.

It can be tough learning how to play, but the game can be extremely fun to play, more so with friends. The game offers a unique experience as an asymmetrical game, and is a nice change of pace from other games you might have played.

My advice for new players: unlike horror movies where the killer seems omnipotent, the game is balanced for fair play between survivors and killers. Do not expect getting kills to be a cakewalk.

Also, there is no 'casual' matchmaking, so every match you join (aside from playing with just your friends), is tied to a rank, and the higher you rank up, the harder you will have to try to outplay your opponents. This will be very frustrating, trust me - you will have more fun at lower ranks.

I would really only recommend this game to speed-runners and completionists. It's fun to play even though I'm not the type for skill based games like these, but my only issue is that getting to some of the levels is difficult and require that you use a difficult technique to reach them and it took me a while and I had to watch some videos.
As for the actual levels themselves, you don't really die or anything just reset when you fall or touch spikes, but when an enemy hits you, it only knocks you back a little and breaks your combo. Your combo determines your 'finess' score. If you choose to play the game at a slower pace and don't care about score, then it's pretty boring, seeing as no actual 'deaths' means no risk to messing up a jump or getting hit by an enemy. There is multiplayer but it's only local, but there is also a level editor which gives the game a lot of replay value.

Everything else - it's up to personal preference really

Fast paced and very fluid gameplay. Story is also interesting but murdering demons is 100x better.

It's fun to try and beat someone's ghost in a race or your own at high speeds, and playing training mode on endless can be relaxing.

play anyway you want. you can form the ultimate zombie killing team with your friends, or being a total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and run to the safe room by yourself and leaving your friends to be torn a new one by the tank, like I do.

Contra 4: Back to the Future

I think this game is fantastic. I get to hurt people with complex spells and simply just hitting them with a sword or whatever.
