To be honest I could write a review for you complaining about how the game is trash and the AI is awful and the mechanics are terrible. Now, this is true, the AI is trash, and Paradox keeps introducing new mechanics behind DLC walls.

However, the AI has gotten better, and while I would not call the DLC model the best, I would call it the least worst. Ultimately, the vanilla game is a relaxing, simple, but strategic game. Multiplayer is 95% either pure cancer or kids who take it way too seriously, but the few good games you can get are awesome. And finally, the modding community is fantastic.

Coalitions are utterly broken, a completley historical innacurate mechanic and should be removed from the game.

This game is endless fun. Paradox's DLC system blows and they pretend to be friendly like any other corporation, but the hours I have played speak for themself. The same goes for most negative reviews of this game- they all come from people with 1k hours or more just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Ton of fun.

I have played every TW game since Rome 1. This game the let down of the century. The campaign UI is so bad I couldn't get over it, the AI in battles was a joke even at max difficulty. The game is buggy etc. I would recommend playing Rome 1 with mods if you really want a good anicent era TW game.

Played as Austria-Hungary and took over Northern England with Germany- me and Germany ended up hating each other and battled for the fate of Europe with all the other nation just being pawns in our game 10/10 this game is amazinf
