After now 500+ hours in EA (2 Months after game release) &' having tried every single character + Ascendancy (to around 80-85) and my main character to level 97, i think i had quiet some experience and can give somewhat of a proper review (for the current state of the game).

Even as someone who barely played POE1 before, i know what POE2 is missing &' what kind of qualities POE1 had (from friends that have thousands of hours).
So based on that i will give my Judgement that way, the campaign itself is uncomparable, the POE2 Campaign is miles ahead and theres nothing really more to say to that, u gotta experience it yourself, good structure, fun bosses if you go through the campaign for the first time &' in general a beautiful scenery.

Obviously alot from POE1 is missing which i can feel, like the crafting currently is pure rng &' has nothing to do with skill, so i cannot wait till that comes to POE2; Endgame is isnt necessarily missing content, its that the content itself feels heavily unbalanced. Unbalanced in a way that u gotta run breaches with 100+ quant, setup your towers &' repeat that all day AND on top of that if you don't run your maps delirious, you are missing out &' kneeing yourself.

Im not gonna talk about Rarity on gear, since in my opinion it doesnt bother me, i played with 0 Rarity, 100 Rarity and 300+ Rarity (on gear), combine that with a map that has 200 rarity + 200 quant and you have your entire screen covered in loot, even after using an uber strict filter. Obviously on the other hand if u dont have quant/rarity on your maps and have 0 Rarity your loot drops are pathethic, but then again, i like having to care about an extra stat on my gear in order to get more, feels more rewarding to me.

After all, we are still in EA, i might update this Review later on, besides that &' i rather wait for the full release and judge it based on that, since judging a game based on EA is like judging a pizza that's still in the oven.

Would i recommend the game?
100%, i myself got overwhelmed by POE1 since the game has had now so many extra systems that got introduced over the years, many more different currencies &' in general as silly as that sounds, way to much content to actually get a climpse of what the game really is.
But yeah, i would recommend POE2 a 100%, ive played Diablo2/3/4 in the past &' im not gonna start a debate or say much about it, besides that i wish i played POE1 back then aswell. Love the game, tried the new D4 season &' after 30 Minutes i already couldn't be asked since POE2 just hooked me.
The game lets you tinker way more than in any other ARPG ive ever played, going through the campaign even multiple times with different classes &' weapon types is extremely fun, i love the endgame myself, i know many people that come from POE1 say its lackluster, i cannot agree on that, but i can see where they are comming from, the game is still missing half of the weapons, classes &' ascendancys, but even then the game is already the most fun ive ever had in an ARPG, i cannot wait to sink thousands of hours in this game, beat my campaign speedrun records &' maybe even compete to be in the top10 ladder one day.

Ill update this in the future! o7

So after over 500+ hours, playing 9 characters daily &' almost having 6 characters in T3 i have to say that:
If u enjoy a really grindy game that rewards you for playing ALOT of alts to get your main character faster up &'
you don't mind failing upgrades hundreds of times you are probably right here.

If you hate grinding &' want/need instant gratification, this game is probably not the right one for you.

For me this game feels like a mix between World of Warcraft, Diablo3, FFXIV &' BDO together.
What i mean by that is that it has the Combat system &' also Rifts like Diablo3 (Chaos in dungeons in Lost Ark);
Being able to be a Completionist &' farm different kind of Collectibles and Trade skills like World of Warcraft;
"Hard" &' challenging Content (in the future actual hard content;Legion Commander Raids) like from Final Fantasy
AND of course the Aesthetic style, Cash shop &' a few other things like from BDO.

So in the end would i recommend the game?
Well yeah, i do enjoy it, so i would definitely recommend it if u like a grindy mmo!
But remember its an mmorpg, u shouldnt "beat/finish" the game with minimum effort &' time spent.
Theres no need for FOMO (Fear of missing out), u will eventually be able to play the content, u dont have to
whale (cash) in order to get there, if u put in time &' effort you can also get there, but if u cant handle that people
can get there faster with spending money, maybe u should get some fresh air instead.
Since even in real life u have advantages if u have alot of money, so don’t be silly &' enjoy your time!

Update after 2k+ hours: i stepped up my game from playing 9 characters to playing 24+ &' i still love the game :)

**Update after 6k hours: Either go big or go home.
