Blueprint Word: Classroom is the second game of the Blueprint Word series, featuring a collection of more than 120 new brain-teasing puzzles. Both games share the same basic logistics, but each of them bring into the scene a different set of mechanisms and strategies to solve the levels. The gameplay for each level is still using these mechanisms to rotate different letters and place them at some specific locations, in order to form a target word.

In comparison to the first game of the series, Blueprint Word: Classroom’s levels are notably more demanding, but there are two different difficulty modes available. When playing on Easy mode, there is no restriction on the number of moves, while in Hard mode the number of moves is often very tight and challenges you to optimize your route so that you can squeeze out that 1-2 moves that you still need to solve the level.

A few changes were made to the overall design of the game. The levels have been split in 4 different stages, based on the core mechanism used and there’s a level selection panel now, which means that you can attempt another level belonging to a different stage, if you’re stuck on the current one. When playing on easy mode, the levels can also be skipped, which provides even more flexibility.

I really enjoyed both of the Blueprint Word games, and I think it’s worth picking up both, especially with the pack discount. There are levels designed to teach the player all sorts of tips and tricks in each of the two games, but in Blueprint Word: Classroom the learning curve is more steep, therefore I would advise playing it after you go through the first game. Blueprint Word seems like a training session, while Blueprint Word: Classroom is where more of the “real” stuff happens.

I played Blueprint Word: Classroom directly on Hard mode, since I didn’t want to spoil the levels with the unlimited moves that the easy mode provides (btw, completing the game on hard mode also awards the achievement for easy mode). It took me around 4-5h to finish all the stages, after which I tried the easy mode too, and I found the difference between these too to be pretty remarkable. Easy mode is perfect for a very relaxing and casual experience, while the Hard mode pushes you to revise and refine your logic / strategy.
