Welcome to the Reviewers' Guild!

"We are the light between funny and troll reviews. We write reviews with the intention to really tell if a picked game is worth buying and playing. We keep our determination."

This community was set up to support people and curators who take their time to write serious reviews on Steam, who want to see more feedback (get motivated for writing more!), and who also want to read interesting reviews made by others. Whether you're a professional reviewer or a newcomer, you have a place here!

Should we create a Discord server?

A Discord server for the Reviewers' Guild

The suggestion has been made before, and has recently resurfaced. Should the Guild create a Discord server? At the time, Steam was implementing its new Chat System, so we decided to start with baby steps and create a Steam Group Chat. While there's been multiple interesting discussions in it, its functionalities are nowhere on par with an actual Discord server.

A Discord server keeps a better history, allows easier navigation of different channels with images and voice chat, better mobile capabilities, is already used by many different people and is really easy to use for newcomers.

Please like or comment to indicate if you have any interest. We don't need a large following. We can start small with just a small group of interested people and grow it over time as people join the server.

Thanks for the invitation! Like I said in my comment, I'm not sure how much I can contribute, since I write reviews irregularly, and sometimes my opinions are even unpopular, but they are what they are. Also, if only I could set my comments setting to default to "on"...
