Ya its not in the 1.0 state. Honestly if they would have just fixed optimization, and filtered AI slop, it could have arguably been in that state but as of now it still needs at least another year in an oven. Good luck to Garry, I'm sure it will get better, but I'm not sure why Facepunch hasn't at least fixed optimization before charging people for the game.

The bandcamp version does have flac, if you are a weirdo that likes collecting them like me.

Love it so far, but hop it will keep on getting new updates with new songs, and ability to use more then just a pomodoro timer.

Spend a day farming, and crafting stuff to go kill the queen, an then at the raid to kill her got spawn killed by some random dude because I forgot to pay attention...

I'm very much into the early game right now, but I'm already leaving the review, because at least for me Dying Light was always a zombie parkour series of games, and parkour in this part is so unbearably garbage, that I just need to leave this is in rage right now. Hopefully I will come back with an edit, but I'm really disappointed right now, as otherwise it seems like it could have been a great game.

The forms of this game have discoused that FLACs were originally just MP3s converted to FLACs, and while I don't know if it was indeed previously the case, I can confirm that nowadays the spectograms of both differ, with FLACs being visibly less compressed.

I understood going in that I'm not going to get that much, but sadly in addition to the game-play being pretty much go from point A, to point B, while shooting up the bad guys, the story was pretty much none exsistant. The stuff in the trailer is pretty much 85% of the story. The only thing missing is a 2 minute dialog in the drug store, and the ending. :(
Hopefully the DLC will be better.

The game-play is slow, but the game attempts to apply time pressure at you which makes it weird. You just get dropped on the location with a timer, and done do what you must in 10 minutes on the dot. If you get lucky something fun will happen right away, and you leave in 4 minutes, if not you will be running at the same speed you run in phasmaphobia across the streets. Due to this no real chaise can happen, you just run around until you can snap a picture of anything relatively interesting, and if it has happened far away from the spawn point you just walk for the next 2 minutes to the start. Might have not even been a bad of a problem if not for the fact that those 2 minutes are 1/5 of your allocated game time on the level. So just mehh.
Not even speaking of the fact that if your friends tries to actually cause a funny scene they will just die, because they will not be able to run away, sending them in to the time out for the rest of the round. This just punishes you for attempting to generate funny content for the rest of the group, as well as leaves the group without a person who can cause something fun to happen.

For anyone wondering yp, it comes with FLAC files.

I liked the story which to me is the most important, but there are some notable things which I can see turning people of. First of your dialog options, don't really have any global impact you can make some people live longer, but if they are scripted to die, they will ultimately eventually end up dying the only choices you can make to change the ending are in the last 2 days. Second turn off which isn't as bad, but hits a lot harder at the begging, is how punishing dialogues with Saeko are during the night, mostly because if you wan't to check out different dialog options which might potentially result in you dying, you are forced to restart the entire conversation with Saeko from very begging, and you can't skip which gets pretty annoying.
So yp, its pretty much a regular visual novel,
