But as much as I loved the solitude, I loved the community more. In this game, you constantly needed help, and people always gave it. Returning those favors was one of the greatest pleasures of the journey.

When the World Stood Together I was there from the beginning. I saw the "fall" when the initial hype faded and the crowds left. But those of us who stayed did something amazing. To survive the game's own attacks (The Corrupted), we stopped fighting each other. We made a pact: each faction took one city. We teamed up as an entire server to protect those three cities and upgrade the crafting stations together. We chose cooperation over war to keep our world alive.

The End of an Era I loved that this game required us to work together to build something. It wasn't just about my level; it was about the city's level. It was about us.
