RGGS has delivered what might just be the best Yakuza/Like A Dragon experience with this game. Infinite Wealth is a near perfect game, as someone who found the combat in the previous game to be quite barebones, IT'S SO MUCH BETTER here, that I can't put into words how much I love it, especially since not too long ago I'd never see myself being a fan of a JRPG game. The music is insanely good, up there with some of the best stuff the composers who have been with the series for a long time have produced. The pacing is also quite good, as the grind in this game is nowhere near as tedious as it was in the previous. Story also has some of the absolute highest highs in the entire franchise, although the reason I said that this is a near perfect game is due to fact that there are some elements of the story that left me disappointed, especially since I loved Yakuza 7's story so much, but it's still a great plot with an amazing message. Before this title, Yakuza 0 was my favorite "Yakuza" game, but I think one might've just dethroned it, although I am not counting the two Judgment titles which will forever be my personal favorite RGGS games, and that's ok, because that doesn't devalue this game one bit, it's just a preference.

Now that the positives are out of the way... I want to say a big ol' F-CK you to SEGA for locking New Game Plus behind a TWENTY EURO DLC, HOW MUCH OF A SCUM CAN YOU BE? I pray that one day they will acknowledge the backlash against this absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ decision and update everyone with NG+ for free, since it was always FREE SINCE THE VERY FIRST TIME IT GOT INTRODUCED IN THE SERIES! The game is already INSANELY expensive (70 euros for a cross gen game, given that it's not a full next gen title mind you), and you still managed to lock content behind another 20 euros. Disgusting.

I'm grateful that this piece of media exists. Thank you everyone who contributed to making this video game real, because I think I have found my new favorite game of all time after finishing this. This game is so comforting and therapeutic to me that I wish I could play it 24/7. Wonderful story, world, cast, performances, music, gameplay,... everything. I am incredibly hyped to play the sequel one day too!

I've tried this game before and dropped it during Chapter 4 because I couldn't stand the sudden gameplay transition for this franchise. Eventually, my friend gifted me the game because the sequel got announced and I wanted to try it again and see if I'll enjoy it more this time around, and... I just wanna say that this game is 100% worth it! I'll be honest and immediately say that I still think the combat in this game is severely half baked, especially seeing the combat in the sequel and how much it evolved. Another, tho smaller gripe I have, is the fact that you can only change "jobs" once you reach Chapter 5, which takes quite a while, and its what made me drop the game before. With these gripes out of the way, I can safely say that Yakuza: Like a Dragon is easily one of the best Yakuza games. It has one of the best RGGS narratives, the music goes HARD, the cast is stellar, and the new protagonist, Kasuga Ichiban, already has my heart. I heavily recommend this game to both older RGGS fans who are more into the classic brawler combat, and also newcomers given that you don't need to play any of the other games in the franchise to enjoy this one. Can't wait to play the sequel one day too!

It is only the grandest Rockstar Games title to date in every way... of course I'm gonna recommend it! Although I'll take this chance to review the entire Red Dead Redemption franchise.

Red Dead Redemption [1]: Since our scummy publisher Rockstar Games never ported the first game to PC, I was left to emulate it on Xenia (Xbox 360's emulator) and I had a fantastic experience, stellar music, open world, voice acting, story and the gameplay is pretty solid for its time tho I'm sure some of the mechanics would've felt nicer if the game had a PC port and that way keyboard and mouse support. Red Dead Redemption [1] is a perfect outlaw simulator and you should 100% play it. It's on both modern Xbox and PlayStation consoles (tho I'd go for the PS4 version and run it on a PS5 so you can get 4K60fps!), and the game is also on Nintendo Switch which is fantastic because it's portable now! If you're on PC like me, grab the Xbox copy (buy a physical disk or... you know), and emulate it on Xenia. Emulating the PS3 version on RPCS3 is also a solution if you want to play multiplayer through fan made servers, but from my experience, emulating the PS3 version was a much worse experience, meanwhile on Xenia, I was able to not just fully emulate the entire game, but also uncap the fps and get pretty solid 45-60fps throughout my entire playthrough (and I don't even have a high end PC). Whatever road you pick for experiencing this game, it is sooooooo worth it.

Red Dead Redemption [1]: Undead Nightmare: The only story expansion for this game which is not canon to the main timeline. It came out during the time where a lot of publishers were forcing zombie like games and expansions for their already existing games, and Rockstar ofc took the opportunity to make their own twist, and honestly,... it's ok at best. Compared to their previous story expansions like Episodes From Liberty City which was so ambitious that it blew the base game (GTA 4) out of the water and set new standards, but I fear that Undead Nightmare didn't come close to that. Pretty boring missions, predictable plot, some new cool music and that's about it. I'm personally mixed on it but given how Rockstar never made story expansions ever again and probably never will, I strongly recommend this expansion just because it's one of the few times Rockstar took their game and expanded on its story without locking the content behind its multiplayer counterpart (GTAO/RDO). You can play this the same way as the original game, it's on all Xbox and PlayStation consoles (Switch too), and if you're on PC like me, get the Game of the Year Edition of Red Dead Redemption which will give you both the base game and this DLC in one.

Red Dead Redemption 2: Rockstar's greatest game in so many ways... While it does have 2 in its name, it's a prequel to the first game when it comes to the story. RDR2, in some aspects, is without a doubt, not just Rockstar's best title to date, but is also one of the most high quality games ever made. Its story is easily their best so far, the voice acting too, the music is GODLIKE, the amount of content is insane, the gameplay is RDR1 but modernized with a lot of new mechanics which expand the game in so many ways. There's a reason it took such a long time and so much money to produce this thing. Although, with a game that has sooooooooooooo many highs, some that will probably never even be reached, there are some things I really wish Rockstar did differently, and most of that boils down to how ever since GTA 4/RDR1, modern Rockstar open worlds follow the same design. On one hand, you have the most immersive and dynamic open worlds that no other gaming studio can produce, but then on the other, the story missions in these games can get so restrictive and linear that they kill the immersion due to how much Rockstar holds your hand in these games. This is without a doubt, RDR2's biggest sin for me and I hope this is the last time Rockstar designs their story missions this way, because I miss the less restrictive and hand holding titles Rockstar made, like the PS2 GTA Trilogy. Still with all this said, both RDR[1], it's Undead Nightmare expansion and RDR2 are games that EVERYONE needs to experience at least once in their life. RDR2 is the most accessible one cuz it's on both Xbox, PlayStation AND PC unlike the first one, but at the time of writing this review, the game didn't receive an Xbox Series X and PS5 upgrade, which means it's locked to its Xbox One and PS4 resolution and frame rate, and it's why I HEAVILY recommend getting the game on Steam on sale. It's a pretty good PC port which can look much better than the console graphics, and you can uncap the framerate (which is a must because this game at 60fps is SO GOOD!!!)

Play this franchise.

This is one of those instances where I wish Steam had a "mid" option when reviewing content. Tho I'll end up giving this pretty short and just ok DLC a positive rating cuz it's more content that adds to this interesting world (tho the rock, paper and scissors achievement was dogwater PLEASE don't do that stuff ever again!).

My first ever Telltale game, and honestly, it's pretty f-ing great. Took some time to get used to the weird camera and gameplay (mostly cuz I rarely play games like this), but the world, story, style, music and the characters were very well done. Definitely peaked my interest in the series.

AMAZING DLC for an already amazing game. Hopefully RGG does more of these for future Judgment games where they can expand on other characters like Higashi or Sugiura, considering this one did Kaito justice. Only complaint I have isn't anything related to the quality of the DLC, but the price, as this DLC is quite pricey and in my opinion, is more in the $10-15 range, not $30, so get this on a sale.

When it comes to the presentation, aesthetics, music, GRIS is gorgeous, and it's theme about grief is heartbreaking. I just wish there was more to the insanely simplistic gameplay, but nonetheless this title is definitely worth it. Takes about 3-4 hours to finish so it's not too long.
