Star Trek Online is a phenominal MMO that has kept a large part of the community going through the dark times of no star trek after enterprise was canceled. They've created long and winding stories that are truly trek in nature. It is very obvious to me the people in charge are true trek fans.

Paramount has shown love back to STO in recent years by canonizing several high tier ship designs most significantly the Odyssey class, as the Enterprise-F.

It's only got a few weaknesses, such as the ground combat being lackluster (as opposed to the EXCELLENT space combat, which is similar to the third person bridge commander combat) and being a bit too grindy and has P2W mechanics that are common in F2P MMOs.

Try this out, if you're a trek fan.

I can't in good conscious recommend this game, it's basically a mobile game where they took the tutorial mission from "Last Stand" or whatever it was called, where they have a tutorial mission that is completely and utterly unrelated to the rest of the game and made a clone that just takes the tutorial mission from that zombie "strategy" game and made it in to a full version of that.

It has none of the fun and charm of the mission from call of duty.

Easily one of the best roguelites i've played in a while. The gameplay loop is very addicting, and you will find yourself saying "just one more match" 10 matches later.

It has a lot of content for what it is and it never feels like there is a dull moment; the waves give you just enough room to breathe and collect your bones/relics/spells and it enables many many different synergistic play styles.

If I had to be critical here, some of the "classes" didn't get the same level of detail (wax, beast, etc) that what I assume were some of the beginning classes made. So there is room to improve there.

I really like this game, it kinda reminds me of FF15/FF7 Remake and warframe/destiny had a baby with the class/job system that FF14 has.

Ultimately, this game is good; it's a decent pretty unique idea, with asteroids meets FTL-like rogue-like. I think this game has a lot of potential...needs to work some of the kinks out, and make combat a little more....fluid.

But it's worth 15.00 for sure. Not a ton of content atm but they say it's coming.

One of the best Action Roguelikes i've played yet. It's asteroids, with a whole lot more depth and loads of fun, it's like mixing asteroids with a top down SHMUP like Raiden or R-Type

Excellent ARPG, The first viable non-diablo clone in the warhammer 40k series. Absolutely awesome. Gets a little repetitive but it is what it is, a dungeon grinder.

This will take you on a very hand held guided tour of the full dragon ball Z story from Radditz to Kid Buu. With some of the DLC you can do future trunks and some of the SSGSS (or SS Blue) It has an open world system that mostly just serves as a vehicle to each of these different events, with side quests and lots of little bits of story spread around it. It is thankfully a somewhat abridged version of the full anime, as it skips or significantly shortens some of the time filler content.

If you are a DBZ fan, this is probably a 10//10 game for you. My one complaint that knocked it down to a 9, is the actual content battles.....are too easy, even with the difficulty cranked up to hard, I was getting S on 95 percent of my fights, and A on the other 5, and i'm no fighting game god.

I'd love to see them do a sequel to this, covering all of Dragon Ball Super next.

Ah man, what do I say I ....really wanted to like this. It's unique in it's concept, kind of like frostpunk (except.. no where near as good.) in that you are building a colony on earth after a major nuclear disaster(war?)

The problem is that the game looks like it's in alpha, but steam doesn't indicate that it is in early access, and it was released in 2019. the cliffs look completely unnatural, and it is immersion breaking. The game has no depth to it, you basically build your main generators, and then just wait. Like most city builders?! Yes... sorta. If you played it you'd understand, anyone here that has the game will know what i mean. The wait times though are BRUTAL, even on the fastest speed (6x) it can take a super long time for research. The game looks just so flat and dull.


Some of the buildings, don't make any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense. One of the main "resources" is ecology, not super unique, but not super common either, and you have to balance that ecology against efficiency.

A particular annoyance with this is the nuclear power plants. they give a massive negative to ecology and it doesn't make any sense. The only thing a Nuclear Reactor outputs is water vapor from the steam generated. There is extremely little pollution even from older designs. So it makes no sense at all for it to have such a heavy ecology penalty, yes a exploded reactor or one that has melted down can be catastrophic but that isn't what the ecology hit is for. It is amongst statistically the least dangerous and polluting source of power generation in use today. With this game taking place in 2100 the fact that we aren't using fusion power, or using a design that uses the most modern concepts for a reactor is a little....ignorant. It sends the wrong message, especially where climate change could have been used here interchangablely and still made sense.

Okay... rant over. Skip this one, until it's much further in development, hopefully they'll change some of the major aspects to this, and make it stop looking so flat and dead.
