Harem of Lust: Battle Cards – Ein vielversprechender Rohdiamant mit massiven Ecken und Kanten
Wenn man Harem of Lust: Battle Cards startet, merkt man sofort zwei Dinge: Das Spiel hat ein riesiges ästhetisches Potenzial, aber es wurde viel zu früh veröffentlicht. Es fühlt sich weniger wie ein fertiges Steam-Release an, sondern eher wie eine Patreon-Alpha-Version, die versehentlich den Weg in den Store gefunden hat.

Hier ist die Aufschlüsselung, warum dieses Spiel gleichzeitig frustrierend und faszinierend ist.

Das Positive: Der glänzende Kern
Man muss dem Spiel lassen, dass es seine Hauptattraktion versteht.

Visuelle Qualität: Die Charaktere sind extrem attraktiv gestaltet, vielfältig und haben alle eine eigene, oft humorvolle Persönlichkeit.

Animationen: Wenn man eine H-Szene freischaltet, ist die Qualität der Animationen hervorragend und sehr explizit ("super graphic"). Hier haben die Entwickler ihr Budget investiert.

Gameplay-Loop: Das Kampfsystem ist zu Beginn überraschend gut implementiert und macht süchtig. Es ist mehr als nur Beiwerk.
Die Enttäuschung: Story & Charaktere
Besonders schmerzhaft ist der Umgang mit den Quests.

Anne: Ihre Quest endet abrupt mit einem "To be added in the future"-Hinweis. Keine H-Szene, keine Auflösung.

Rauny: Ihre Quest ist zwar lang, aber ohne Online-Hilfe kaum lösbar, da die Auslöser für Events völlig unklar sind.

Missy (Die Mutter): Für viele der Hauptgrund, das Spiel zu kaufen, aber leider die größte Enttäuschung. Es dauert Stunden (der Rezensent brauchte über 8 Stunden), ihre Szenen freizuschalten. Das Ergebnis? Unbefriedigende Kamerawinkel, teilweise bekleidete Szenen und absolut keine Charakterentwicklung. Die Story nutzt das Potenzial der Beziehung überhaupt nicht aus.

Harem of Lust: Battle Cards ist ein klassischer Fall von "Gut gemeint, aber nicht fertig". Es ist ein Rohdiamant.

Wer geduldig ist, gerne im Internet nach Lösungen sucht (Walkthroughs sind fast Pflicht) und über fehlende Texturen hinwegsehen kann, wird mit tollen Animationen und charmanten Charakteren belohnt. Wer jedoch ein poliertes Spiel erwartet, das die Zeit des Spielers respektiert und eine flüssige Story bietet, sollte (noch) einen großen Bogen darum machen.

Empfehlung: Nur für sehr geduldige Fans des Genres, die das Potenzial unterstützen wollen.

So Frustrating getting these achievements but very satisfying once you do good pace nice mix of stealth and full out action game play the wrath mode is essential to complete game and a nice touch i would love if this game was open world so you could explore the world of Rambo but the on rails keeps its arcade style its a must play for any die hard Rambo Fans like me hours of shooting fun to be had

This is one of the best horror games I've played. I can only play it for short time periods because the adrenaline rush makes me nauseous. The pitter-patter sound of that ghost girl walking around just terrifies me. As such, sadly, this is a game I'll never even come close to finishing.

You can play this single, co-op, or PVP. You're a paranormal investigator (a.k.a. ghost hunter), and you enter the basement of an old funeral home. It's 3 stories, plus the basement, so it's easy to get temporarily lost. Starting out, it's pretty simple. You have to get a key to the second floor, then a key to the attic, and then release the special marked dolls in the attic which seem to be alive. It's creepy how they giggle and run around, and I believe there are 9 of them.

Once the marked dolls are released, things get harder. You now have to catch all the marked dolls, one by one, take them to the basement, and burn them in the furnace. There are also regular dolls (which don't move) laying around the house. The ghost girl pitter-patters around the house, and every now and then she gets demonized and comes after you. Grab a regular doll and give it to her, and she'll calm down and go back to just being ghost girl for a little while.

But beware, because the more marked dolls you burn, the quicker she gets demonized again, giving you less and less time to burn all of the remaining marked dolls. And if she catches you without one of the regular dolls in your hand, it's game over because she turns you into a doll. There are also 2 other scenarios which have been added to the game over time. For one of them, you're on a farm running from a farmer. He's either a fast-running zombie, or a crazed cannibal. For the last scenario, you're in the woods. I haven't played this one yet, so I don't know what the monster is here.

Controls are easy. There's walk, run, jump, flashlight on/off, and item grab/drop. Graphics are awesome. Some of the achievements are for single, some are for co-op, and some are for PVP. Sometimes it's hard to find a multiplayer game to join, and you can't play in multiplayer by yourself, so you should try to talk a friend into buying the game. Also, if you get turned into a doll in co-op, one of the other players can save you. They throw you in the furnace and you return to human size again.

Overall very fun free game and worth time to play. Cool mechanics Also has fun easter eggs / achievements!

Nice little FPS game set in Warhammer universe. Art style, atmosphere and world are great, graphics are also nice and for UE4 game it's pretty optimised and with AA set on high, it was mostly fluid 60fps. Since it is AA game, it sadly doesn't have polish of AAA game and it's not as thought out and bugs drag it all down, making it more like mid-budget Doom Eternal game with how combat tries to be fast paced and fluid, rewarding more agressive gameplay.
If you have nothing against lower budget spectrum of games, like Necrovision, you will have good time. In no way it's Doom competitor, but it is ok game for what it is. Grab it on deep sale or in a bundle.

Good:
- shooting is fun
- parkour works ok, but feels rather situational
- guns sound good
- abilities are useful and easy to use
- dog is also pretty useful and helps you find enemies (you also have ability for that, but dog is more useful)
- another showcase of how awesome and brutally awesome Warhammer 40K is
- Mick Gordon/Andrew Hulshult-spired OST, it is ok for combat noise, but it's not something you will go back to

Bad:
- plot, like in most of those games, is incredibly basic and it's better to pretend it doesn't exist with how cliched it is and how mediocre ending is (although it is nice there is some kind of sequel bait, because I would like second game with more polish)
- graphical glitches and bugs, like enemies getting stuck, gun not shooting even when you have ammo or gun not reloading when you have gun
- animations can be terrible, like in one mission where you exclusively find "creatures" - they feel unfinished and like some of the frames of animation are missing, because they don't go to you, they are getting pulled towards you like you are some kind of magnet. It feels awkward and they cheapshot you, because that animation skip results in attack
- balance feels off. While on normal it's managable and ok, any higher difficulty feels rather cheap, with enemies doing insane amounts of damage (although, just like in many other games, when you get some power ups, game gets easier)
- bosses are terrible, have insane amount of health and can take long time to kill, last few bosses have the same exact pattern of crouching in the corner and shooting you, throwing grenade, walking and then crouching, shooting etc.

gute spiel

Better than NFS Unbound, costs 70 bucks less.
