This game surely isn't for everyone to enjoy. There are no figths, no RPG elements and even the inventory is a little bit small for an adventure game. Also, the product is a little bit overpriced in my opinion - especially for the kind of audience that will enjoy it the most. I am glad I got it for 5€ in a sale.
But I personally fell in love with it. It reminds me the times when I was digging through my parents' old stuff in the attic - or my grandparents', or when I was just left alone for a few hours in my uncle's office. In the game, you just wonder through the house of your family and discover bits and pieces or your own personal history - and of your relatives. And together with the great soundtrack, visuals and environment elements, you get familiar with people living there, you get to know them - and when the game ends, you are left (at least in my case) with a very strong and intense emotional movement, which makes you thinking about your own family and things that you're keeping as reminders of your own personal history. What can your own home tell about you?

A new adventure of Alan Wake, my favourite Writer. It's more arcade game than the original Alan Wake, but it slightly expands the background story of Alan, it's fun to play, and it really makes me wish to get a regular sequel...

It's not just a game, it's a movie, a piece of good-looking art...
