This isn't the best Final Fantasy game. Final Fantasy 6 is the best one. But this is a VERY close second, and my personal favorite in the series. I played quite a bit of this game as a kid, and still have my original copy. However, I decided to give the PC port a shot, and I'm glad I did. The character models and cutscenes are much more polished looking in this version, and the autosave/faster load times make this the best version I've played of this game.

The only things that bother me with this version that I've seen so far, are that the game caps at 30fps, and there is a bar on each side of the screen (at least at the resolution I have it set at for my monitor). However, I'm hoping that these issues will get fixed with mods. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes the old Final Fantasy games and never got around to playing this one, OR if you just want to play the game again and relive your childhood.

Interesting game. Not long at all. I finished it in about 20 minutes, but it's definitely worth checking out. Especially since it's free.

Like turn-based RPG's? Like South Park?.... Then why don't you already own this game? The battle system is great, the music is great, and the story and dialogue are amazing. Playing this is like playing a really long episode of South Park.... and it's glorious.

Got to 59 seconds.... failed miserably... threw monitor out the window. 100/10 would cry myself to sleep again... oh, and the soundtrack's good.
