Good game for playing while watching TV.

My son loved this game when he was 5 or 6. He loved putting the track together and placing buildings and trees by the track. Then he'd run the trains into one another, watching them fly into the sky. It's not a perfect game but the colors, music, and motion are fascinating for the younger kids.

Update: I originally gave this game a negative review. I changed my mind after playing Siberian Strike. That episode was actually fun! I wish the base game was like that.

Maybe because I played Sniper Elite before this, I didn't enjoy this game. While the graphics are pretty good, following your spotter around is boring and confusing. It's way too linear. He's yelling out "Go right! Go Left!" but because you're in the jungle, it's now always clear where you're supposed to go. One thing that frustrated me was that even if you hold your breath, the reticle is all over the place. It's extremely frustrating. Also, the bullet cam is not as good as Sniper Elite and the story is convoluted. It is fun at times but not enough to save the overall experience.

Bittersweet but beautiful. This short game has a little bit of everything. Surprisingly good.

A beautiful and intelligent game, Before Your Eyes will touch you in ways that will surprise you. It's not just a game, it's literature.

TBH, I didn't like this game all that much. I thought it would be more serious Noir. But I can't really fault the game for that. It's actually very well designed and looks good. The story is a tongue in cheek take at Lovecraft and it succeeds at that. It's just not really for me.

The gameplay, in which you are a security expert decrypting files in the hopes of solving the reasons for a suicide, is interesting. But the fragmented and somewhat shallow story lets it down in the end.

I think the developers' intention here was to educate people about a sensitive and important issue facing many countries at the moment. However, I don't think that message was handled well. I can't see someone who might be harboring thoughts like that changing their mind because they played this game. And for those of us who already hold a more liberal viewpoint, the video clips almost seem to be pushing that negative agenda. The subject matter is highly important and relevant but the reasons provided for the radicalization of the main character are stereotypical and superficial. More depth is needed.

Interesting and short visual novel (not really an interactive game) with a Lovecraftian theme. The graphics are weak but the writing is rather good, as is the music. If you like Lovecraft and just want to read something ominous, I recommend this game. If you're looking for more of an interactive experience, there are better Lovecraftian games out there.

Interesting HOG with good puzzles and an OK plot. The production values on this one are above average and the voice acting is pretty good. On the negative side, this is the first HOG when I'd look at a puzzle and not know what to do. There were a few like that. Still, I enjoyed it.

A comical and bawdy mystery about a killer who leaves a telltale stamp on his victims. The narrative is surprisingly well written and the plot is engaging enough to keep you interested. The jokes are a bit juvenile but funny if you like that sort of thing. While somewhat titillating, there's no "mature" scenes here.
