This is a game that could have been so good, a game that really should have been so good. And I really wanted to love it, I tried as hard as I could to ignore the negative reviews and the harsh criticism in the forum. Unfortunately they all proved to be true.

There are plenty of bugs and the graphics are outdated. Instead of fixing existing bugs, they keep producing more overpriced DLC, with even more bugs that most likely won't be fixed. And a game this CPU, RAM and GPU intensive that isn't 64bit in 2014 is almost embarassing. My new high end computer can barely handle some DLC, due to the fact that the game can't use the resources available.

The worst part however is not the bugs or that the game isn't updated to make use of newer and better technology, the worst part is the developer's apparent lack of will to fix the problems and their awkward and sometimes outright negative attitude towards the community. A community with such a love for the game; or rather for what the game could have been. A community increasingly frustrated with the lack of support from the developer.

Do I regret buying it? No, not really. Would I reccommend it? No, I can't.

Call it stupid, call it naïve, but I really want to believe that there is a brighter future for this game. I really want to believe that this game one day will become what it has potential to be. Right now however, nothing indicates that that will come true.
