Have you ever come across a hand-made piece of art, a crafted item, something that the moment you pick it up--you know that it exudes the love and care that went into every stitch, every thread?

Teddy's Haven is a work of art, dedicated to being loved, and giving love in return. Created as an act of memorial, a testament to unbound joy, and as a sanctuary of peace, this early access game is, in itself, a memorial to love, loss, grief, peace and healing.

While it is actively being worked on, and there is more to come (which I am excited for), I picked this up this weekend (Friday, September 6th 2025) on a whim and a recommendation from r/cozygames.

I am so glad that I did.

I played this game with my heart in my hands and tears pricking behind my eyes. And I solemnly swear: I will never, ever, ever change the name of my Store.

As someone who has lost and loved and lost again: people and pets in my life, this game's laid back, quiet testament to life is everywhere. I found myself spending hours just gathering and wondering what's over there or what next I could do or find or stock.

To be fair, it's still a bit skeletal. Does this bother me? No. Will it bother you? If you aren't a fan of Early Access, you may want to wait until more features are in or more is added to satisfy you. Me? I'm fine with discovering what new aspect will arrive next week, month, or however long is needed to flesh out the rest.

There are delightful secrets to be found, too, by the way. This game REWARDS you for going out of bounds ;)
