Terrible gun handling, unintuitive map design, inaccurate combat physics, and poor VR controls.

absolutely horrid community. minges, teamkillers, and sad little nerds. disable chat and try to have fun.

I play it solely for multiplayer, and its just not stable enough in that regard. Crashes everytime I play, no matter if I'm the host or not. I have a beefy computer, as well.
It worsened after full release

I've played Garry's Mod for far over 2000 hours, and never bothered to play the game it stems from. What a lovely game and story. Looking forward to episode 1, 2 and alyx. Hard to believe this game is from 2004.

laughable. do not buy. I unfortunately made the choice of waiting for an update, and now I can't refund.

TLDR; It's boring.

The one character actually in the game has the cringiest voicelines i've ever heard. Once you get past the short intro sequence, you're met with an extremely limited sandbox. It doesn't take much to entertain me, but this just bored me so. much. I heavily enjoy sandbox games like people playground, gmod, minecraft, etc. But this just feels like some coder practicing AI and walking animations. It doesn't feel like you're supposed to play it.

Made me realize my lust for perfection and knack for problem solving.

Pros:
Insane replayability
Super charming graphics
Intuitive
Built-in mod support with easy in-game downloading.
Stable multiplayer
Incredibly polished and you are extremely unlikely to experience a bug. (after 200 hours I still haven't encountered a bug in a stable build)

Cons:
none in my eyes

would be good with less weapons and better movement. It would be a close competitor to Ace of Spades before Jagex bought it
