The Definitive Edition is superior in every regard to Aoe2 2013. It costs less (DE all content is 20euros, HD all content is around 50 afaik, and in DE you get more civs more quality of life features, matchmaking) and gets constant updates.

The only reason Aoe2 2013 is still on the store is so those users which already own it or have weaker PCs can still access their content.
