This game is so good, even if you fail you have tons of fun!

The art and music is so perfect for this game. Just sitting in the game lobby can put a smile on your face.

The challenges look so simple until you're in them and then it really feels like you're fighting for your life. I don't think any other game has got my palms sweating and adrenaline pumping in a good while.

It would be nice to have bigger party sizes at some point because everyone I know wants to play this together. Listening to your friends reactions during this game is pure joy.

I would, and am, recommending this game to everyone I know.

This is definitely a game you need to be in the mood for, but when I was in that mood and had hours to kill I really enjoyed Graveyard Keeper.

Sometimes it did feel like a grind in between completing tasks for the quirky characters to get to the next objective. Once I resigned myself to using the wiki to figure out alchemy recipes and let zombies do the work for me the grind lessened significantly.

I liked this game because it's pretty, the music is really calming and the story has great humor.

Probably one of the most boring and ugly zombie games I've ever played. A friend bought this for me during a steam sale so we could play together. We each played for about 3 minutes before deciding it wasn't worth any additional time. If you like zombie games, don't buy this one.

This is not a game. This is the scariest zombie lady I have seen in my life standing in front of me and stopping me from moving. I bumped into her five times by accident, couldn't move to get away, and was too traumatized to finish the game.

I would prefer a scary game with a bit more story and a bit more of a chance to get away. So, I don't recommend it. But, if you're just looking for an opportunity to poop your pants. This is for you.

Early Access Review
I played this game twice and had no desire to play it ever again.

There aren't really any goals or objectives except to find stuff and craft stuff. So, I never felt like I had anything to work towards accomplishing.

If I'm playing zombie games I always want the zombies to be vicious and fast enough to kill me, which they're not.

And interactions with other players in game always seem to be really awkward.

Plus, it takes a really long time to get anywhere unless you find the parts to make a vehicle run. So, expect to spend most of your time just running from place to place.

King of the Kill and Just Survive used to cost $21.99 together, but now they're $21.99 each. This is a huge ripoff. I think they had their pricing right when the games were combined.

I thought Outlast was twisted and then I played the Whistleblower DLC.

There were things I never wanted to see done to the human body.

I kept wondering when I would see a woman in this game. But, after seeing what the doctor did to the men I'm really quite happy that my gender was left out.

I 100% recommend the DLC since the Whistleblower's story really adds to the understanding of the core game. And, it's equally as terrifying as Outlast, if not more gorey and grotesque. Plus, you really feel for the whistleblower as you find out he has a family and kids and might not ever make it out of this torture chamber.

This game is set in a creepy rundown asylum which is already a setting that gives me goosebumps. Add tanky overly deformed men waving their penises at you while they try (and succeed) at killing you over and over again and you get Outlast.

You think you're getting close to the end of the game and you're not. You think you've found a great hiding spot and you're safe, but you're not. Some creepy old man drags you out from under the bed to play doctor.

It's the first game I've played where I can't fight the bad guys. You can only run, hide, or die. And, I like that you piece together what has gone on in the asylum by picking up files and taking notes from your videocamera.

One tip. Conserve your batteries. There are tons of pitch dark places where you can get killed.

I streamed Outlast on Twitch, and even with the moral support from chat while playing the game, I still had to watch kids movies afterwards so I could sleep at night. This is one of the scariest games I have played so far and would 100% recommend it.

This was definitely one of the scariest games I have played. I had permanent goosebumps the whole time. You never know when something freaky might happen so you're on edge all the time. It's not just standard scary. It's like fear on drugs.

I really enjoy the story that you piece together as you gather photos and notes from around the house. You come to find that your character seems to have some seriously dark issues. And, I've come away still not 100% understanding exactly what happened. So, I might play again to try to find the notes I missed to piece the whole story together.

I really enjoyed this game, but thought that it was far too short to warrant spending $21.99.

I played this game on my Twitch stream and it only took five hours to complete. This includes all of the time I chatted with viewers and went on breaks which is quite a lot.

I'd definitely recommend it if it's on sale. I'd only give it a 60% recommendation if it's not on sale and you really like games like this.
