Alright boys and girls, there isnt much to say here. Its a game where you go on heists and steal stuff. I personally enjoy this game but its quite hard to play without and friends. I say that because Im no GeneralMcBadass, I couldnt ever dream of a solo stealth heist on Death wish (Great videos by the way, check him out if youre into that kinda stuff). I will say that as an average player, Its a great time and youll spend roughly 30 minutes to an hour per heist, depending on how quickly you do it and what all your equipped with. So like every 'great' review lets get down to the pros and cons.

Pros!
Customization. From your mask to your weapons, you can make it your own. Theres plenty of weapon mods to add to your guns from scopes to laser sights and even stocks. With some sights/scopes you can even change the reticle. My favorite one is the middle finger sight, but thats my personal preference. The mask custiomzation allows you to take any mask youve already got and apply one of the many materials, patterns, and colors available. With a good number of options to choose from youll be able to make the mask your own.

The musical score. What game isnt complete without music? Sure, you can add any kind of music into a game, but what makes a game better is when the music is great and fitting. Tracks like Death Wish, Donacdum, and Backstab are great examples of great tracks. Its better because during down time when you arent being assaulted the music dies down to something more calm, but once the police assault begins it kicks up and gives you something amazing to listen to.

Characters and Heists. Well this one seems simple right, this is what the game is based off of. The heists and people that pull them off, right? Well imagine Jacket from Hotline Miami, or Jimmy from Hardcore Henry by your side as you blow your way into a military complex to steal plenty of loot. Now, I dont mean to use this as a 'bad example' either, but unlike Killing Floor, each character has a different voice, accent, or even recorder (Jacket man, hes like, the best). Now Killing Floor is another review and it IS a great game, but with a huge selection of different characters there was only two voices until later in the game. Imagine Payday with 12 characters and only 2 voices. The heists are also something on the scale of simple every day heists like...jewlery stores or banks, all the way up to smuggling nuclear warheads. Yea, you read that right. You get to smuggle nukes in this game. Isnt that the best thing to smuggle?

Skill Trees. This is gonna be short and simple, because the name should say it all. There are at least 5-7 skill trees (Short and sweet people, short and sweet) and they allow you to pick out your play style from loud and proud to sneaky beaky. Tanking damage and 'evading' it. Take your pick, and you can have more than once set of skills.

Now then, lets move onto the cons, with the first one being the most obvious.

Community. Like every multiplayer game the community has a darker side. What is that darker side you may ask? The elite perfectionists, the "Im a higher level than you so you do what I say when I say" players, the hackers and trolls (Not that Ive seen any in Payday persay, but Im sure they exist). Another thing about the community is the whole 'microtransaction fiasco' with everyone getting their panties in a twist when it happened. From what I understand the man who made that promise, Payday will never have microtransactions, has left the company. Basically that tells me what he said is null and void, yet everyone had a huge fit when the safes and drills were added (Think crates and keys respectfully). If you dont want to mess with them...then...dont mess with them? Regardless, they blew things out of proportions and it led to the game getting a massive drop in players.

Guys, truth be told, thats the only con I have for this game. I cant think of anything else that could potentally ruin your expierence other than hopping into something you arent prepared for. The game has a pretty easy learning curve, or at least I think so. However I will let anyone solve that for themselves, and if you do get this game I certainly hope you enjoy it just as much as I do.
