short and sweet

i really like this game. first and foremost, the bug report system is IN game, with comments of course, and also *the ability to upload your save file + screenshot*. it's the most amazing system i've ever seen and i pray it becomes more commonplace. now the rest:

the recent update added the benzies. they jumpscare me by jumping me. at one point i needed my friend to accompany me because whole groups would jump me, and i always died. through other means i lowered their reputation enough that they stopped bullying me.

at the beginning of the game, it's very fun to garden and deliver things, and it's important to remember to leave room (or property) for that even when you make the most satisfying production lines. my partner isn't interested in the production lines, and just likes dealing, weapons out.

this game is early access and i don't mean that like it's full of bugs; i mean it like there's so much potential here and i can't wait to see what stuff tyler adds. we keep voting on what to add, and shrooms are up next, but i've seen other options like delivery drivers and fishing.

you can make crazy drug strains and name them whatever you want, with ingredients like gasoline, batteries, and donuts. the npcs have their own daily schedules and work (or loitering) places, and their own drug preferences. the employees have randomly generated names and i filled my barn strictly with employees named larry and gary. you could also probably fill a place with npcs that all look alike.

i treated this like a quirky personality test aaaand it was alright i guess? my ending told me i could do anything i could put my mind to and it felt very generic. it tried to creep me out but it didn't work really. i am intrigued enough to check into any sequels and i guess i would recommend this to anybody that's just in the mood to answer questions :)

i really like listening to chill background music, like the lofi girl, while playing this (january 2022)

and i come back (2025) to emphasize they did add a lofi option, as well as add more detail to my review. in this game your health is happiness and you basically struggle through homelessness to keep your hope alive. it can be depressing, but it makes the happy events pop out more. you can get to a point where you feel like you got a good system down, but it takes some hardship (or luck) to get there. you can choose your game modifiers, like having a dog or an ongoing pandemic. if you choose to play as female you get the pink tax, specifically paying for period products. there's a lot of exploring and picking up trash. everything is randomly generated, so the exploration is pretty constant. overall i very much recommend this game.

simple, satisfying, and super gay. only time i was disappointed was when i got the season pass and found out they don't change the action cards; you still collect comics and upgrade your computer even if you're on the fantasy map

i LOVE THIS GAME!! i was too young to understand clue before, so this was my first time playing it, though i got it originally on the phone. the phone is already really good, but i was thinking i'd love it if i had it on a bigger screen and didn't have to keep opening my clue sheet all the time. that's what this version was great at!! the season pass and other things just unlock cosmetics; you absolutely don't need any of them. there's cross platform matchmaking, and from what i understand this is on here, the phone, and the switch. it's also really fun to just play offline. it feels like a puzzle game. i've played it with friends and while we can't comment on actual gameplay that much 'cause then we'd give stuff away, we can get real dorky with our accusations.

the optional buys in the game are really just cosmetic. no matter what with just the default pack you will always have a character to play, and all boards are just coverups for the same board layout; someone using the vampire board would still get queued with people using the regular board. if you play with a not full game with friends, or with bots, you have a lot of opportunities to see what other characters look like, though an album showing all of the different characters with their different accusation and arrested and defeated poses would be pretty cool.

10/10 current obsession

i liked the story mode. a lot of the game feels silly and fun, and there's no pressure. i can't say i've played it extensively but i can say i feel i got my money's worth

i really liked the horror parts of this game because it didn't do any real jumpscares or chases like happen in other horror games, where i can't handle it, and i panic and close the game. i liked the story. but also i found out that it was a CREATE your own adventure, not CHOOSE your own adventure; there are a lot of different endings, but it's completely subjective about which one is true. for that, i would almost not recommend this game; i found it EXTREMELY UNSATISFYING AND FRUSTRATING. but it was so well done. i think that's so cool. i've never seen that in a game before. so i recommend it. SUFFER WITH ME.
