Even though there is a lot of controversy surrounding this game I still like it. It's the closest thing to what I want to play and the closest thing to one of my biggest dreams - explore the universe, catalog everything I find, befriend anyone I encounter, have my own base on a wonderful planet, have my own ship, fly FTL etc.

To the people who cry that the game has no gameplay - the gameplay is what you make it. It's like one of those many survival games on Steam but actually done right. If you are into space stuff, sci-fi etc., this game is for you, if you ever dreamed of being a space explorer, this is for you. If you are looking for action-packed shooter, you probably won't find it here.

Mods fix lots of issues with the game which should have been fixed by the devs. They also enhance the gameplay and visuals significantly.
I recommend using the mods made by Lo2k on nexusmods for the best results.
