It's a fun little stealth/puzzle game.
The game is fairly short (I finished all achievements in just 1.5h), so I'd say it's the perfect game to get through on the weekend.

The last Monster Hunter Game I played was on the PSP.
And finally the franchise gets a game that got modern graphics and a release on PC!
So, if you even got the slightest love for Monster Hunter: PLAY THIS GAME!

Oh and btw. the developers keep adding content for free!

Short Version
I am actually quite mixed on this game.
Whilst the setting, mood, etc. are very unique and well done, there are a lot of bugs and glitches left in the game.
So I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and recommend this game, hoping they'll fix these.

Long Version
The setting is just done perfectly. You always feel the discomfort of being in a place, that you really don't want to be.
Whilst the story is ... tbh I really don't know. You're told that everyone is somehow drawn to the Red Godess and at least for me they managed to pull that off. Although you read in a lot of memos, that she's literally the worst hell has got, I really wanted to get to her. But other than that, there's a bit more of motivation later, but that really is it.

Gameplaywise there really isn't much to say. You have to "survive" the levels and move from entrance A to exit B, while solving "puzzles". Demons rome the levels, wanting to kill you. In my experience, it is quite hard to really manage to get away from one, after they noticed you, as you can run out of stamina and they don't. So your focus will be on not getting spotted in the first place.
If you get killed by a demon, your soul leaves your body and you have to find another body to posses during a timelimit. When the time runs out, you're reset to a "mirror" you saved at. All the bodies to posses and enemies will respawn, but your "puzzle-progress" won't be reseted, so the game is quite forgiving.

So that's all the good stuff.

Then there are some strange design choices:
Why do you just instantly die and respawn at a mirror, if you fall down a cliff? That's just plain annoying, as the platforming isn't done very well.
What are these purple glowing sparks? Sometimes they mark hiding spots, sometimes they allow you to willingly leave your body and sometimes they're just there for no reason.
Why do fences that you can burn down nearly look identical to the ones that you can't burn?
Why are there some glowing textures (bones with sparks of light, purple glowing fences, ...)?
And why is the standard setting, that the game doesn't want you to see anything? Many people complain about the game being to dark, but that can be mostly fixed by turning of: Blur, Noise, Vignette and Aberration. I know it's a horror game, but I don't feel very scared, when I get the feeling that my monitor is just horribly dirty/broken.

There are a lot of problems with the colision boxes of the floor.
Sometimes you won't be able to get over a bone, that's just flat on the floor, or even something invisbile that just blocks your way for no reason and might not be there, when you moved 2 steps left and right.
Sometimes you need 10 jumps to get on a knee high stone, as you glitch of it's edges again and again.
When you die, your soul is very likely to just get stuck on terrain, most of the time just as it leaves the body, but sometimes whilst looking for a new one. The only way to continue playing is to reset to the last checkpoint.
Whilst these problems are annoying, I can overlook them, as this is an indie game (so in my opinion it is allowed to lack some polish) and the death system is quite forgiving.
However it really is a shame, as the game hides so many collectables at places you have to climb/jump to and the further you stray from the main path, the higher the chance you glitch to your death or just get stuck somewhere.

BUT I encountered the very stupid bug being "reset" to the beginning of the Chapter (I still was in the first, so I hope it only resets your chapter progress). But it aparently only forgot about my last checkpoint, as I still had all skill upgrades, collectables and the puzzles still were solved.
It took me about 1 hour of just running through the levels to get back to where I was.
Bugs like this really shouldn't be in any finished game!!!

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, that they'll keep working on patching out these bugs, glitches and other problems.

So all in all:
It's a very unique experience lacking a LOT of polish.
Some of that might be excusable because it's an indie game, but clearly not all of this!

If it's on a sale and you're intrigued by the setting/atmosphere, definitely give it a try.
But at 30€ and with this many problems, I could very well understand, if you take a pass on the game.
Even though I really enjoy the game.

This game is just the exact same thing as the board game.
It combines RNG and tactics with turn-based football.
I thought it sounded like a fun time, but had to find out: It isn't!

The tutorial could be replaced with a text stating: "Read the 500 page rulebook" (which isn't even included in the game and you have to look it up somewhere)
I guess most players won't and might think: Well the tutorial might be so short for a reason, so it'll be enough ... WRONG

The game will crush you with it's rules, you won't even comprehend, as the tutorial tought you absolutely NOTHING to be prepared for a match.

You like boardgames, card games, tabletops, ...?
You don't have any friends to play with nearby?
This game is THE solution you need!

Whilst the standard game is quite slim, there are tons of games available via the Steam Workshop.
