Story: You are a teenage psychopath mass-murdering goblins with Unforgivable Curses. The main plot and exactly three side quests are okay-ish. The rest is absolute filler trash.

Gameplay: Pure Ubisoft bloat. Prepare to clear thousands of map markers and hunt dozens of useless collectibles. Want to carry more gear? Have fun solving the most braindead riddles known to man (Merlin Trials) over and over again. Enjoy the same unskippable 10-second cutscene every single time you solve one.

Vibe: The atmosphere is pure "Peace, Joy & Pancakes." If you’re looking for the darker, grittier vibe of the 2001–2004 era games, you won't find it here.

Visuals: Good, but runs like trash (thanks, UE4)

Conclusion: Only buy this if you are a massive Potter fan. Otherwise, spend your time on better games.

Honestly, I quite enjoyed Dead Island 2 despite its flaws. The story is largely forgettable (though there is a nice twist at the end) and the sterotyped characters can be genuinely annoying. However, the gameplay makes up for it. It is incredibly fun to collect weapons, modify them to your playstyle, and slash through hordes of zombies.

The gore system is the best I've seen, rivaled only by the most recent releases. The procedural damage is impressive: you can really see the impact of blunt weapons and the deep slices of sharp ones on the zombie models.

However most unique legendary weapons can only be acquired after the main story is finished and new side quests emerge. Given how central the weapons with unique aspects are to the gameplay, this is a real shame because it feels like extending the playtime unnecessarily.

Graphics and sound design were above average. I did experience some driver crashes, but these were solved by reinstalling the game and disabling FSR2.

Even though I played Dead Island 2 solo, I think it really shines as a gory Co-Op experience where you can bring mayhem to HELL-A with friends.

Verdict: Grab it from the bargain bin if you search for a gory zombie slasher.

Even though Dishonored was released quite some time ago, its phenomenal world-building still creates a thick, immersive atmosphere as you sneak through the streets of Dunwall, eliminating your opponents to save your daughter, Emily.

Each level is a fantastic sandbox with multiple solutions and optional secrets - you decide how you want to tackle every challenge.

I was surprised that Dishonored supported my ultrawide monitor so well. To improve the visuals, I highly recommend the HD texture mod as well as an upscaled loading-screen mod.

Dishonored is definitely recommended!

A linear, single-player story game with a captivating narrative about Hugo and his sister, Amicia.
Due to Hugo’s mysterious illness, they weren’t raised together, and I loved watching them bond over the course of the game.
The world-building is fantastic! I especially enjoyed the darker levels, which ooze atmosphere through the screen.
In terms of gameplay, the hordes of rats are a unique mechanic that opens up interesting possibilities.
Definitely recommended!

The Last Campfire is a beautifully narrated puzzle game with a meaningful message. I really enjoyed the calming art style, the charming animations, and the soothing soundtrack. Definitely recommended!

Even though the game is now five years old, its story about sentient robots feels more relevant than ever, given recent advancements in AI. Throughout the experience, you’re constantly forced to make powerful decisions with real consequences—some can even lead to the death of key characters.

The graphics remain good and hold up remarkably well, though the 60 FPS cap and lack of ultrawide support can be infuriating. Gameplay largely consists of Quick Time Events (QTEs) as the narrative unfolds like an interactive movie; however, character movement sometimes feels uncomfortably slow.

Overall, this is one of the best story‑driven games I’ve ever played. If you’re looking to make soul‑crushing decisions while bonding with well‑written protagonists, this game is a must‑try. 10/10.
