Durchaus schon richtig geil. Ich würde aber auf die fertige Version mit allen Akten warten. Das Ende ist gerade schon etwas holperig und überraschend.

Too short if you are not hunting for achievements by repeating missions multiple times.
Gets repetitive rather quickly. (But at least enforces a different play style in the last mission without warning)

For a few hours it's a steal, though.

Not the usual supergiant game. I liked the fast paced rites (kind of a like a sports game) although it gets chaotic and too fast sometimes. I did not like the visual novel style in between. The "exploring" felt repetetive and there was not that much to explore at all.

Still a nice game overall.

Metroidvania in perfection!

Missing a lot of QoL features compared to today's standards.
On modern PCs I recommend using community patches for better compatibility. (e.g. cnc-ddraw)
Still enjoyable with tons of nostalgia.

Strategy aspect is pretty light. Having a big mixed bulb of vehicles is usually enough.
Homeworld 1/2 felt better balanced in that aspect. And the dunes mechanic is borderline useless.
The game is just lacking a bit depth.

But the campaign is pretty fun nonetheless.

I did not know that I love this genre.
This game opened my eyes.
It's one of the most motivating time killer in years.

PS: Dad approved.

First impressions: Nice evolution, interesting new civs, great expansion!
But the defeat screen is still off-center. ;)
