Such a great game! I already had a headset, but it's worth getting one if you don't! There's so much attention to detail, and the game is super polished and complete. Love this game and 100% Recommend!

This is such a great game! Despite the fact that it's from 2004, the graphics continue to amaze me and the gameplay feels like a much newer game. My only complaint is the long loading times. Going between levels/rooms takes like half a minute on a HDD, whereas the first Half-Life only took half a second (on modern tech, not old windows xp machines). I guess Source engine games have this issue, and my best advice would be to switch it to your SSD if you have one, it's only 2 gigs and you can move it back once you're done. It still takes more than 5 seconds, but there's a noticeable difference in loading times when it's on the SSD. Besides the loading times, gameplay is smooth (you'd expect it to be from a game this old with such low graphics requirements) and the quality is amazing. This is a game that truly cares about the storyline and character development. 100% recommend!
