super beautiful game, and with most co-op games-- its a blast with friends.

sound design and aesthetics are on point. i am not usually a fan of roguelikes, but the progression in this game is super satisfying and i feel like i could play for a long time with upgrades keeping things fresh.

assassin's creed is the entry title for the assassin's creed franchise. the game was originally going to be a sequel for the prince of persia game, however it was eventually turned into its own game that started a franchise of over ten entries in the series. while i don't really enjoy the game itself, i really do think that the story it tells is quite interesting.

pros.
+the graphics still look pretty good by today's standards
+the urban environments are compact, and very fun to traverse
+the story has a very interesting premise

cons.
-the main character is really unlikeable
-missions are very repetitive
-unnatural, odd progression
-climbing is very slow and doesn't make sense at times

verdict.
wholistically, i would give this game a 6.5 out of 10. while i really enjoy the narrative of the game, it's the gameplay that holds it back.

i would reccomend this game to anyone who is interested in the assassin's creed lore, or is a big fan of the series. if this game looks fun to you, but you're not really interested in the story, assassin's creed four: black flag and assassin's creed: origins are some of the more fun entires in the series, gameplay-wise.

great walking simulator. funny and witty dialogue. buy it on sale though, i wouldn't reccomend getting it at full price

i just finished the story! i have to say that the story of sleeping dogs kept me wanting to come back and see what happened next, and i couldn't stop playing the missions until i beat the game! plus, there was a bunch of side content to keep me happy after i beat the game. id pick the game up if it were on sale!
