Seems like a fun game, from what I've seen of other people playing it. However, it is plagued by an absolutely foul user experience that - whilst for most people will fall under the category of 'unpleasant but bearable' - renders the game nearly unplayable if you are left-handed and use keyboard + mouse on PC (that's me!). The only things standing between a refund and I are my friends who I will enjoy playing this with regardless. So, congratulations to fromsoft for tapping in to one of the fundamental human joys in order to sell me ♥♥♥♥ for the price of copper.

Here is my comprehensive list of gripes, collated at ~1hr of recorded gametime, and ~0.5hrs of actual gametime:

(The reason for this disconnect in playtime is because I had the game open in the background for 30mins whilst I searched where to find where the in-game settings menu, in order to close the game properly and not have it scream at me the next time I opened it. Spoiler warning, since I did have to pop my fromsoft walkthrough cherry finding it, it is hidden in a fifth options tab - the only hidden tab - from the in-game menu which is otherwise filled with no system-related pages and which also has a screens-worth of empty space that it could have otherwise gone into.)

- Meagre tutorial
- Unintuitive controls (different from literally every other fromsoft game I personally have played, including the game's parental namesake)
- Some keybinds cannot be rebound
- Some buttons cannot be used as keybinds
- Meandering central hub, which only explains what it has to offer once you've already found the relevant articles. The 'start game' option has a literal sweetspot that you cannot be too far into or out of if you want to even see it come up
- The options in the various menu tabs cannot be clicked until you click "into" the tab, which has zero visual indicator as to whether you are "in" the right tab or not so you just kind of have to keep clicking until the game starts working
