These games have done things to me that women couldn't. Now you may think I'm going crazy; however, no. I am serious.

From the tip of the iceberg, SOTF is just an expanded The Forest. However, it is much more than that, my friend. SOTF is a an over all experience, story or not. The fact that now it makes me realize what I could just craft with my hands, a pen right next to me, and some tape in my history class, and somehow I think I can make a weapon, it is silly, but it's the thought that counts.

Now though, let me get to the other points I want to mention. It makes me get out my (maybe psychopath) rage that only this game and Red Dead Redemption could do. Why try to get saved when I could make the cannibals feel like the Aztecs? and me as, Hernán Cortés. Or another example: there is one that only has little armor and bad weapons. This makes me (and my friend) chase them down, use the stun baton, kill them, and then put them on the fire with their own kin.

There is a drawback with Sons of the Forest. There are sometimes bugs. One of the ones I mostly found was when my friend was on a golf cart, and for some reason we could scale mountains. This was 12 times better than mash jumping, and I am grateful we found it. Even though there are bugs, it is only bad (for me) if it is unplayable or just not fun.

This isn't about me, though, so another positive I will give it is BUILDING . I LOVE the building in this game, from how I can set up different types of traps for my own trap dungeons to a nice bridge that took me an hour to build. Both the premade and the overall building feature are pretty good. I do have some suggestions. Understanding this is an indie game, there is an overall understanding for how complex it would be, but I would suggest workshop support for builds people can make and then post onto the community (it could act like dupes on GMOD). I do understand how hard and complex it could be, though.

Even though other games won't make me feel like I could be in Naked and Afraid and make myself not look like an idiot, Sons of the Forest does, and it sometimes makes me realize that even though the earth has resources, it takes eras and evolutions to understand how we can use these sticks, rocks, and pebbles. Humans are nothing without their weapons.
