This game is a game that I really enjoyed from start to finish. From the story to the very quick and easy to learn controls in order to advance to the next level. I felt this game really brought me back to another Hotline Miami game, but with a time bending, side-scrolling twist. I really recommend this game to all those adrenaline junkies out there looking for a quick to play kind of game. The replayability is high as you would need to play some levels a couple times to get achievements and different kinds of katanas.

This game is an awesome and is addictive with Starbound and Terraria elements to it, but with its own type of flavor. The game is early access has occasional hiccups, but can be easily fixed with an update or two. It’s a refreshing take on 2D sandbox/rpg type of games which is a good commodity.

Let’s start with the gameplay. It starts out rather easy as you can get a short tutorial on what to do. You can easily manage controls on an Xbox controller or PlayStation controller which can be helpful. The graphics are pixelated like any other retro game. I’m a fan of these retro games as I grew up in the 80's and 90's playing those console games in their prime. The skilling up/leveling up system is very unique and different from Starbound and Terraria which makes this game stand on its own. I enjoyed exploring and creating my homes, teleport points, forges, and loved the crafting aspect inside of it. This game is very time consuming and can be very addictive at the same time.

The game isn’t perfect and still is an early access game which comes with its bugs and glitches. The game has unusually long load times when you first start out which I found awkward knowing this is a pixel 2d sandbox game and isn’t a really big game that should be doing so. I found that it did take much more memory than expected as well which I heard the developer is seeking to fix. In terms of the multiplayer aspect, there should be some dedicated servers steam side to help everyone connect with each other to make this game even more fun. I hope that this is also fixed and implemented in the finalized version so I can even give this a higher grade on my review. Anyways I found this game to be quite fun, addictive, time consuming, and refreshingly new. I hope this game can fix these glitches and whatnot to make this an even better game.

Rating:

7.5/10

Pros:

  1. Refreshingly new take on skilling/leveling up system
  2. Smooth/solid gameplay with either controller or keyboard
  3. Music is mesmerizing and soothing to keep the gameplay running smoothly as well
  4. Fun Crafting and exploring
  5. Mods can be implemented in the game

Cons:
  1. Occasional hiccups that may cause sluggish gameplay momentarily
  2. Sometimes glitchy scenery/enemies
  3. Unusually long load times at certain points of the game
  4. No dedicated servers otherwise I can give this higher rating
  5. There are often multiplayer connection timeouts

This game is a cool retro over the top shooter thats loads of fun! I really enjoyed the game especially with some friends. They just added the online multiplayer mode which makes this games playability much higher. I love the different modes added to this game like dungeon crawler mode.

The added online multiplayer is a big welcome to this game and makes it very enjoyable. The boss battles are epic and the artwork is colorful and bright. The monsters and zombie hordes seem endless, but very fun.

This game is still in its early alpha stages, so there are occasional framerate hiccups. The game also froze and disconnected me from the online multiplayer game occasionally. Aside from the few problems, this game is very fun especially with friends locally or online and i highly recommend it!!

Rating:

7.5/10

Pros:

  1. Very fun shooter
  2. Online Multiplayer added which makes it more fun
  3. Gazillions of weapons and mods
  4. RPG elements
  5. High replayability

Cons:
  1. Locked at 30 fps
  2. When online multiplayer game starts controller doesnt work sometimes
  3. Health bar on the top left screen occasionally wont show
  4. Game froze a couple times during online multiplayer mode
  5. Occassional hiccups during gameplay

This is a decent sandbox game that resembles Minecraft and Elder Scrolls sort of. The game allows terraform which I think is cool at first, but this game feels kinda like a pre-alpha. The crafting system is cool and kinda feels like the game Grav with the farming for materials aspect.

The graphics look decent considering that this game is an alpha. The artwork and animation look decent enough as well. Hopefully the finished product will produce more detail in the characters and background.

The multiplayer didnt work for me. I guess its still being finalized for the complete version. There are several bugs that did require me to restart my game a few times. My controls got stuck and I was stuck in a ditch i dug on my own lol. Being that this is a sandbox game I hope the final product finishes the bugs along with the multiplayer to see how well this game runs with multiple people in one server. The possibilities can be endless. So only time will tell. The price range is a bit high in these early stages, but I do hope that the finish product does make it worth while.

Rating:

6.0/10

Pros:

  1. Decent graphics makes it easy on the eyes
  2. Crafting and farming for materials
  3. Added RPG elements to make it lasting
  4. More unique take on the minecraft aspect
  5. Please fill out all 5 pros.

Cons:
  1. Clunky Controls made me restart the game
  2. Repetitive music makes me go crazy add some more lol
  3. Multiplayer doesnt work for now...
  4. Buggy game with hopefully patches to follow
  5. Please fill out all 5 cons.

This is a decent sandbox game that resembles Minecraft. The difference in this is that it requires you to use the elements to create. In order to use these elements they must be obtained by objects you create. For example, an oven can create fire if "nature" or wooden logs are placed in it thus creating points for fire. I wish there was a tutorial in the beginning of the game to help players learn the game faster. The graphics were kind of dull and I wish there were more varieties of animals and people or enemies. I did like the creativity in this game as you can bring your creations to like. That's another big plus that made the game enjoyable. With that being said I would say that this is still an early access game in its early stages so I do hope they fix the game to make it more enjoyable. Hopefully some adjustments such as better graphics, more enemies and animals, better fighting animations would make this a great contender to becoming a good sandbox game. The price of this game is also overpriced in my opinion. If the game is somewhere in the $5-$7 range, then I would say that's a fair price. With all that being said I can see this game has potential to becoming great.

Rating:

6.0/10

Pros:

  1. Creativity with elements
  2. Create objects with different materials
  3. Bring your creations to life
  4. Use the elements to attack enemies
  5. Multiplayer mode can be fun

Cons:
  1. Graphics are dull
  2. Lacks different characters and animals
  3. Multiplayer doesnt always work
  4. Fighting animations are very limited
  5. Overpriced game

After playing this game I have to say its very original. Its all about taking control of the robot and telling everyone else (rabbits), what to do. You can always kill the rabbits if they disobey ya which is fun lol. I'd say it would be more fun once more players buy the game to have more multiplayer excitement. For those who want a unique, original game about being the "king of the castle" (my Borat voice), check this game out!!

This game is very likeable. It has a retro feel to it, its online multiplayer/co-op and different characters to select from what else do you have to lose? If the price was a little lower it would be even more popular. It just needs a $5-$7 price tag on it and there are a few bugs in it. For starters, some characters are mouse and keyboard only which they should give everyone a choice whether to use full controller or mouse/keyboard no matter which character they use. I do like the different characters they each have different abilities and mix and matching em in a game can either be devastingly bad or overwhelmingly powerfully good lol. Other than that I love playing this game and would recommend it to my friends. Fix the minor glitches and the price and the game will get a bigger fanbase :p.
