Easily the best partial-idle game out there. IdleOn isn’t a fully idle game—it’s a very active one compared to most in the genre. Think of Cookie Clicker: yes, it's idle, but you’re actively engaged. The difference here is that instead of clicking, you’re moving, attacking, and managing multiple systems.

It’s best described as a mix between an MMORPG and an idle game, which is exactly why it’s called IdleOn—you have to do both. Auto-pickup is a mandatory DLC purchase in my opinion, but at only $5 USD (the same price as Cookie Clicker), it’s well worth it.

Like any MMORPG, there are pay-to-win options, but you can grind for premium currency through hard work. Don’t knock it until you try it. pre-World 5 barely scratches the surface of what this game has to offer so do not trust any reviews that are pre world 5 at this point in time on 03/12/2025
