I've never played a game before that had me in a chokehold like ex 33. When i'm at work i'm thinking about when i can go back to playing it. I have never played a turn based rpg before so i was not expecting much. But oh boy am i happy i picked it up either way. Forgive me if i am raving about things that are common in turn based rpgs but as i said this is my first time.

The characters are amazing. They all have distinc personalities that shine through from the beginning.

All of the characters have unique powers. I can't even pick a favorite. And don't get me started on their animations when attacking because they're so cool to watch.

When you finally get the hang for parrying it makes you feel like you achieved something which is insanely addicting. When you parry an enemy attacking the whole expedition and then they do their little counter attack and then time slows for a few seconds before they do ohhh HELL YES.

I could go on for hours about this.

The story.
The worldbuilding.
The visuals.
The music.

If you are not sure you would enjoy it because these are not your type of games: Go for it anyway. Trust me.
And everyone else hesitating for any other reasons: Go for it.

feels like the game would spit on you if you manage to make an ugly zoi...

What a shame that a game that turned out like this in the end had such a terrible start.
Crazy game. the story, the characters, the visuals, the music , all of this won´t let you go if you once start playing.

I am very happy that cdpr didn´t give up on it. Has a very special place in my heart.
