Best Sci-fi Strategy Game with a great Total Conversion Mod (Star Trek)

You want to role play your character, optionally with your friends in multiplayer?
You want a story with a lot of character development?
You want challenging combat that makes you think about your actions?
You want a game that gives you sheer endless variations of how things can play out with actual important consequences?
Congratulations, you found the game that does them all the best.
The only thing you need, is the will to learn how D&D works for a couple hours.

If you don't mind the little bit shallow (but fun) combat system
and the NPCs of the open world effectively beeing feeling like a backdrop (since you can not really interact with them outside of quests) this is a really good game.
Make sure to surpass the Hardware requirements of the desired resolution, since the PC verison has A LOT of performance problems even on high end systems (mostly very frequent stuttering and slow loading textures).
If you have a mid range or low end PC, buy the PS5 version instead if you can,
since it runs the best at this time (weeks after release).

People who are complaining about "the stressfull time mechanic" and that it's "hard" should be forced to finish all Dark Soul games + Elden Ring + Horizon Forbidden West on "Ultra Hard" + Nioh 2 to experience true difficult video games.
Most of those complaints sound like "It's not Farmville".
This is not meant disrespectfull(y)?, but to be honest this game has a mediocre difficulty level.
I don't know what I am doing half of the time and I got threw 2/5 competitions at this point without any problems.
Just make sure to spend all your money on "I need new material for potions" and "I need a better shop" that's all there is to it and the game tells you that fact very loud and clear multiple times. If there is 1000 Gold in your pocket in the first 10 days, you are playing the game wrong.

The only point which I can see is, that you are not able to "max out all NPCs in one playthrough" which is somewhat of a valid point, but in the reality of Video Games, it's not.
This mechanic was made to increase replayability and let the "min max people" have some fun.
Some people replay Persona 5 Royal for that same reason, which is easily a 100+ hrs title (per playthrough).

PS: This game is so adorable, we need a new word for it.

I played this game just for 2 hours sadly.
Big hype, big stuttering. 5900X / 3080 12GB / 32GB of RAM and in boss fights fps drops randomly from locked 60 to like 15.
The frametime graph spikes like crazy.
I read that this issue even exists on consoles.
I suspect DRM.

In my humble opinnion: The better Factorio. If you had fun playing Factorio, this game is for you.
Keep in mind: The Game is still in Early Access.Personally, I did not have any Tech issues in 150 hrs.
But I had a lot of fun building that Sphere even if it took quite a while.

Wer ein jRPG mit einem guten Echtzeit Kampfsystem und einer guten Story sucht ist hier genau richtig!

Wer MMO's im WOW Style mag und dem China Setting nicht abgewandt ist, ist hier genau richtig.
Das Game ist vom Schwierigkeitsgrad her eher für Casuals gedacht. Mit anderen Worten man wird für Fehler z.B. im Raid nicht so hart bestraft wie in anderen Games in denen ein Fehler direkt ein Wipe bedeuted.
Bisher ist das Game nicht sonderlich Grind lastig, kann also bequem auch "im Feierabend" gezockt werden.
Pay 2 Win ist (bisher) nicht vorhanden und laut der Deutschen Community Vertretung möchte man auch dies beibehalten aber es wäre nicht das erste Game das mit Pay 2 Win einen Abstieg hinlegt.
Da dies zur Zeit nicht der Fall ist kann ich das Game wärmstens empfehlen.

Wer mal ein paar Stunden zocken möchte ohne den Kopf benutzen zu müssen ist hier genau richtig.
In dem Spiel liegt viel liebe zum Detail was es sehr sympatisch macht.
So z.B. haben Kinder Angst vor Monstern unter dem Bett, um das sich Eltern dann kümmern müssen.
Ein paar der Erweiterungen verbessern das Spiel drastisch.
Vor dem Kauf der Erweiterung unbedingt die Bewertungen und Kommentare lesen.
Erweiterungen sind oft im Sale daher am besten warten bis diese günstiger sind.

Wer eine gute Story sucht ist hier genau richtig. Wer GTA V sucht eher nicht.
