10/10, excellent sequel. QoL features make keeping track of everything a breeze, massively improved graphics and technical performance, great music and voices, very fun.
My only complaint is that some of the icons are less obvious at a glance compared to their equivalent in Rebellion — things like formation move, research icons, and so on. This is minor, as you'd eventually get used to it, and if not it's easy to mod.

Post release DRM added, reducing performance, breaking modding, and breaking Steam Deck compatibility. Should be illegal.

High quality sprite animations, both for the normal game play and the more detailed game over sections. Really, really appreciate the fact that I don't have to actually intentionally lose/get caught to unlock the game over/battle scenes in the gallery, and frankly this is what tipped my opinion enough to write a positive review.

Low runtime/content amount for the price.

Free fangame that's better than most triple A releases this year

Too grindy. I'm not even talking about getting the top end jets and radar and stuff, I mean like mid-tier typical WW2 stuff like Shermans and P47s. Far, far too grindy.

Solid RTS. At launch, it's missing some basic features like replays, ranked matchmaking, but these are frankly minor ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ over the core of solid gameplay.

Good stuff. Solid gameplay, excellent music, very nice visual style.

This is a good game, with a very strong story. Yes, it's an adults only game with explicit sex, but it's the kind of porn game where I skip the porn to get to the story, not the kind of game where you skip the story to get to the porn. What other game has you politically influence an ecumenical council? Just this one.

Pretty fun, love the gun customization. Prices are a bit steep, though, for both game currency and real dosh.
