Boring game. Extremely overrated and overhyped. It Takes Two is WAY better; Split Fiction doesn't quite hit the mark.
- Plot and writing are atrocious. The main story is predictable and generic. Dialogues are simple and stupid. There is zero humor in the writing, even though this type of game requires it. When you play as pigs and hotdogs and dance with the Monkey King, you kinda expect jokes in the game. It is nowhere near the writing quality of It Takes Two.
- Gameplay is pretty simple—just run and jump around levels, clicking some buttons for each other. Most bosses are underwhelming with only 2-3 mechanics and aren't challenging. Boring.
- No minigames. One of the best things in It Takes Two was the 25 minigames in which you could compete with your friend. Me and my friends expected similar things in this game, but all we got were two short races. Instead, devs added "Side stories" that are just small levels in different settings with the same simple gameplay as the main game.

Don't get me wrong, the game is still fun during the first playthrough. The best thing about the game is that it is very creative and artistically looks amazing. Especially the side story with the supernova star and the ending of the game—these are quite innovative gameplay-wise and magnificent.

8/10
