Great chill game innit :)

CS:GO, once a beloved game that everyone enjoyed. Whether it was competitive or casual, there was always something to enjoy about CS:GO. From the personalities you met, to the shots you hit. It was a great game to escape and have some fun after a long, hard days work at school.

However, since being free I've seen a decrease in my satisfaction and standards of the game. It went from being a RTX 2080 to an integrated GPU, in the words of graphics cards. Since having been made free to fit the 'trends' of the free to play, battle royale genre, it's dramatically gotten worse. While Danger Zone, the aformentioned battle royale game is actually fun and enjoyable to play, the integrity of both competitive and casual gameplay has dropped.

Since it being made free, not once have I been a part of a match that contained no cheaters. While some attempt to hide it, others blatantly show it. I've even crossed a certain individual that was using cheats so cheap (if not free) that it advertised itself in the chat of the match. Not only has the standard of the game decreased, but it would appear that it has gained in popularity for the 12 year-olds that have a tendency to brag about how 'good' they are at the game.

While I appreciate that people go out of their way to analyise gameplay that's been reported through the use of overwatch, it's simple not enough. There has been a massive increase in cheaters since the game has been free, simply for the fact that they know they can just get a new account and get the game for free. If you're looking for the great, almighty CS:GO that you used to watch videos of back in the day, this isn't it. I'm not saying that you shouldn't buy it, but I'm warning you what the game actually includes. For all I'm concerned, it should be in the description of the game that there are plentiful cheaters as that's what you're really getting when you buy this game.

Great game! Although better with friends, it's always fun to treck through the forest and embark on a new adventure.

Absolutely great game, loving it. Definitely not doing this for Steam XP.
