If you want a game that:

- is constantly adding new and enticing content

- has robust servers (even in regions such as South America or Africa!)

- has an ironclad anti-cheat and report system

- a game engine that allows you to accurately hear enemy footsteps and that never ever bugs out with ever season release

- matchmaking that truly scales with your skill level so you are never fed to the Masters and Preds in non-Ranked BR lobbies, nor have to carry low level/new teammates against hordes of experienced TTV Wraiths or one-clip Horizons.

- reasonable Store item prices that won't be ludicrous to the extent that you should rather spend that money in buying other games/DLC for the price of one skin

- Collection Events that won't ever force you to gacha and test your luck to get an item you want by buying Event Packs over and over

- In-game currency that you can stack up by playing, that's actually useful and doesn't become obsolete with time in lieu of new currency or direct $$$ purchases.

- and of course: A Battle Pass that rewards player's engagement with the game, actually respecting your time and your personal economy, AND that you can use the rewarded Apex Coins from it to unlock the next one...

Sorry mate, that princess is in another castle - EA's already pillaged this one*.

* which is a shame because, honestly, in terms of raw gameplay, characters, world-building, gun-play and movement it's truly brilliant. It's just too bad that everything else sucks and that EA/Respawn just don't care to make the game better and would rather keep on squeezing every last dollar from what remains of their players.

The platform of this software is absolutely a must have for any D&D/role-player/fiction literature enthusiasts. The tutorial provided at the start is very simple and straightforward to follow through. Furthermore, the packs for character customization are ample and varied, giving options such as base templates, outfit parts, backgrounds, companions, effects, weapons, props and such. The visual quality of the components provided throughout is fantastic, which allows for a good alternative for people who want to create their characters but who lack the time or artistic prowess to make their concept a reality. All in all, a great application.

"Played" this game once, and by "played" I mean that the game crashed repeatedly, like it was giving up on life right before I even got to play it. Once it did decide to get on and do it's thing, I went onto character creation and it crashed yet again. Once more I tried and finally the world loaded and ran smoothly, graphics looked neat and... my computer randomly shut down. Immediate black screen with no explanation or clear reason as to why. I can run several (well made) games that have high quality graphics, but for some reason it refused to run this one in particular - must be a sign.

Fingerbones is a short game, yet it achieves the psychological horror it set out to accomplish. This game won't give you cheap jumpscares, wont place eerie otherwordly creatures in your path or abandon you in the middle of a haunted forest (those seem to be all the rage in most horror games), but it will unsettle you and it will make sure you still feel chills running down your spine even after the game ends.

The theme it deals with isn't scary per se but rather it is a subject that most people prefer not to mention and would rather ignore. To this purpose the developer of the game places several letters around the environment you'll explore, slowly unravelling the disturbing narrative that will surely leave you creeped out.

The controls are very simple and the download time is very short, plus it's free, so if you have some time I would recommend giving this game a go.

I imagine that at one point in time ArcheBlade was brilliant and that it set a new bar in MMOs in terms of more dynamic gameplay that strayed away from the typical (and, personally, dull) "press 1, press 3, press 2, repeat" mechanic seen in most MMOs.

However, it seems like the developers have forgotten that sometimes to retain their player base and keep their game fresh and new for newbies, they have to update the game itself. That means gameplay, servers, graphics, etc. The gameplay feels rather awkward, the scenarios look bland and outdated and the game feels really repetitive. I'm not sure why but the game runs with a lag that puts all other lag in other games to shame - almost unplayable, and on the Tutorial level! Imagine the lag when I finally joined a match. The only point that redeems the game is the variety of playable characters and lack of P2W, which is great! But not when your character is lagging all over the stage like nobody's watching.

I now have a new record: 0.2 hours on record on ArcheBlade before I uninstalled it. Wow.

Before I re-installed the game through Steam I had been playing APB for more than 2 years. What caught my attention to the game, apart from the fast paced shooter mechanics, was the mind-blowing amount of customization, encompassing character, clothes, tattoos, cars, death themes, etc. This is, I think, the unique selling point of the game, as I haven't seen something so broad in terms of customization in any other F2P game. Some of the holiday events made by the devs were genuinely brilliant and my liking of the game eventually got me to spend some money to support the devs so they could fix the server issues, lagging, etc. Sure, since Day 1 one of my biggest issues with the game has been the considerable amount of toxicity, but then again the developers are not to blame. Oh, and the occasional hackers too... oh dear. But whatever, I loved APB.

Then the Fire Natio- sorry, the Server Merge happened (supposed to fix the lag).

For crying out loud, what happened?! More lagging!?

It's disappointing to see that most of the server issues, weapon balancing, severe lag, (add any other claim made by the players) haven't been resolved and instead G1 has focused on releasing re-skins of weapons in their insanely expensive Cash Shops. Now I am partially kicking myself for having spent money on the game, but I really hope that the devs can turn this game around and actually listen to the players for a change. Until then I'll keep playing APB (I spent a good amount of money in the game, so I might as well continue even if it pains me).
