20 minutes in, fully kitted out from a few battles. Driving a car to the safe zone and the server rubber-bands me into a wall, full stand still, another player easily kills me. I have no chance. 20 minutes well spent? Negative.

These games are a dime a dozen, so while this game happens to be the most enjoyable of the lot, none of them have forwarded the genre and fixed the biggest problem the genre has: Bugs.

When releasing a game so heavily competitive and so incredibly reliant on smooth, consistent performance, delivery thereafter a game which is *plagued* with said issues is just an offense.

Yes, the game is early access, so hopefully come "launch" (i.e. the time when no one cares about it anymore) it'll be ok. Nevertheless, sadly this is one genre that doesn't lend itself to the kind of bugs it is plagued with.

It's interesting to note; very few other genres which go to early access have similar issues.

Unfortunately this game is unplayable for those with a 4K display. Even the 4K UI mod doesn't help as it doesn't scale the top bar and it causes the resource requirements messages for buildings to be removed...

I tried playing a couple of games but unfortunately I can only handle squinting at my monitor for so long :(
