Although I am seriosly enjoying the game after 40+ hours, I feel this is a step backwards. If you like Fallout 3, this is better. If you liked Fall Out New Vegas...this is a pale imitation with a less vibrant world and a few gimmicks such as base building. The difficulty is not well balanced as once you get a couple of nice guns, even without armor it becomes possible to kill most enemies by manipulating the flaws in their pathfinding and other tactics.

- food/water is pointless. Enough stimpaks can be found throughout the world.
- Weapons are pointless. I was able to get away with a 10mm pistol for 20 hours of play before I ran our of ammo.
- Base building is more of a hassle than anything
- crafting removed almost all need to use caps

A great game for former Diaablo 2 players. It features an amazing SKill system based on equippable gems and a Passive Skill Tree where you're starting point is based on class. The different classes are diverse because of where they start, but any class can be used to traverse the tree and play as any character archetype.

This game is poorly translated, but still blew me away. Worth the Full $10 for the story alone. The puzzles are clever if less than satisfying on occasion (you'll know these 2 when you hit them). Outstanding story with plenty of twist.

Got this game in a bundle that cost me about $0.60 each. That being said, this is a game worth gettign at 50% off or more. The powers you get are occasionally useless...I mean completely. The stealth aspect at times is overly challenging (I only ever played on hard) and yet it still seems lacking. there are roughly 3 kinds of enemies and a variety of traps on each level. The story was interesting and finding the PDA's in game that expand hte story are rewarding to collect.

TL;DR I'd be willing to have paid $9.99 for this, but either way grab it on sale.

TL;DR, It reminds me of Analogue: a Hate Story or Hate+ without hte Visual novel aspect and a focus on networking in addition to searching for files.

I'm a bit of a Security enthusiast and I use Linux (Linux Mint or Manjaro) nearly exclusively. This game feels like it belongs on by desktop. The easy access terminal with a few gui tools to assist when I just need a quick click. The ability to use man instead of help...This game was a maybe for me then I sat down and wasted my whole night being a l33t haxxor.

This is the third game I've found that puts a heavy focus on realistic hacking and forensics (if a bit fanciful for the sake of being a game). The command line tools are based off actual tools. The only thing missing is the ability to && a few commands so I can queue them up instead of waiting to free up memory.

The game is immersive with the abilit to affect your own system as well as those of others while you become a more and more capable hacker utilizing hte terminal to launch various attacks and compromise server after server and cleaning your tracks to avoid being tracked down.

Be prepared for a story in need of heavy Show-Don't-Tell editing that will still impress you.

The story is entrancing from the very beginning, but I find myself struggling to keep interest when I can easily infer whats being said in the next sentence, but they decide to describe it in intense detail. One of the beauties of some japanese works is the way their language allows anything that can be implied to be left as implied. This feels like they are trying to write a book about each characters motivations and call attention to plot devices.

With the negative out of the way, I find the characters to be engaging, the artwork supreme, and the presentation to be impeccable. I have been griping about things from the moment I started playing, but I'd still give this game a 8/10 even though I have to spam my spacebar to move past the irrelevant details.

Amazing game. I tried it on Android and immediately came to steam to purchase it. It's hard to argue it's worth $9.99 when the sequel is out for slightly more, but I'd say its worth buying regardless (you can play free on Android til lvl 15 to try it out)
