Hey, I am very sorry that you have been experiencing a problem with Ubisoft Connect and that it's caused an issue with Rainbow Six Siege. While I do not know the exact issue you are having with the launcher, I would like to see if we can get this resolved together.

To start, please ensure that you have the game installed on the same drive as Steam and Ubisoft Connect as this will make sure that there is no miscommunication between the game and the launchers. Then, I would clear the cache in Ubisoft Connect[www.ubisoft.com] and run it with administrator rights[www.ubisoft.com]. However, if there are still some issues persisting with the launcher afterwards then you may need to uninstall and reinstall Ubisoft Connect[www.ubisoft.com]. Just make sure to backup your saved files[www.ubisoft.com] first.

However, if you are still seeing some problems with the launcher when trying to play your game then please contact us by creating a support case[www.ubisoft.com]. From there you can then attach[www.ubisoft.com] your launcher logs[www.ubisoft.com] for further assistance. Just make sure that you list all of the steps that you completed here on your case so that you do not receive a repeat of steps.
